Viewsonic VX2025WM if u still can find it smile.gif other than that I think 206BW is among the best , Dell 2007WFP can only be gotten on their site smile.gif and its much more expensive

according to some user review on Hardforum , it seems that Samsung has replaced their initial 'S' panel to 'A' (Aoc panel) which is of lower quality , when buying 226 just look for panel with an 'S' , if u got an 'A' then out of luck , it seems that they started to change the panel to 'A' now

Battle of the cheapskate 17" monitors.

Which would you guys recommend?

Viewsonic VA703B - RM539

Acer AL1717 - RM530

LG 1752S - RM575

Samsung 740N - RM569

I'm currently attracted to LG as people been mentioning the image quality and contrast (not sure if its this model but the contrast ratio is 700:1)

Help me or I will open a new thread. (warning to the mods shakehead.gif)

Yea, how do you guys choose a best LCD? I only noticed that alot of people will first ask the response time and whether it is a Ultrasharp or not. Other than that? unsure.gif

Function (HDCP,usb, extra stuff), Viewing Angle (IPS is the current king), Contrast Ratio, the higher the better (most of the time) , and also the Appearance and Price ofcourse smile.gif

u can have the best feature/performance lcd but with a ridiculous price, then its not consider the overall best smile.gif

To all sifu here:
I just got a HP w19e 19" Widescreen for 700bux.
Good? Bad?
Can't really test it since it hasn't arrived at my place yet >_>
I kinda regret buying it so fast, since i saw a Samsung LCD with similar specs and similar price a few hours after placing my order. Kinda biased towards Samsung, kekeke.

yes, the height is the same with 19", but is wider of course.
So what's the difference of the S and A panel? Anyone can explain?
Thanks
