It’s quite devastating for Damansara Lagenda and the other Villa next to petronas (forgot the name). When I viewed Lagenda few years back, it was a great place. However the ones nearer to highway were quite noisy. Now it will be worse as the roads on nkve got widen...and now this LRT track and station.

Yes indeed. Some houses there already have to deal with the noisy NKVE, now have to deal with LRT3 and 600 car parks. Kesian.

It will be on Jalan 1a/1 just beside Damansara Lagenda.
The petrol station and fast food outlet adjoining Damansara Legenda would be acquiredand there will be 600 parking bays and a park-and-ride plan. Heard that there will be pedestrian bridge from Dataran Prima to walk over NKVE to this LRT station (dont know how true)

You are right Potpourri is not near LRT station at all.
I was just commenting on Ara Damansara/Tropicana area in general.
I think Cantara by Sime Darby is within walking distance to LRT3 station at Dataran prima/Damansara Lagenda.

Yea. Within walking distance to two different LRT lines.
One going to PJ/KL/Subang/Puchong
One going to Shah Alam/Klang/1U with connection to MRT1.
U ada hantam satu biji here? or still waiting for Seri Pilmoor hahaha

Different place have their different charm.
There always got people look at different negative perspective than others.

Ara will be negative if use for investment now, however it is a good place call home.
I'm average guy moving to Ara soon and i know many high income people who stay here quietly.
For example, if you could afford merz and bmw, would you want the LRT or what so ever build next to your house?
Ara is surrounded by 4 highway, NVKE, LDP, GCE, soon with DASH.
1 KTM at Airport. 2 LRT line (1 coming soon, photo below) and not heavy traffic if drive to MRT at kwasa. (If they ever want to use it)
The so call down side of Federal highway jam and bottle neck at Tropicana is like telling Puchong is not liveable with all road under heavy traffic and pay toll too.
Your current area traffic is more acceptable for you compare to Ara could be you used to it and immune.

There will always be quiet area for those rich fag to stay.
DPC, TTDI have their charm without those MRT,LRT. However I don't know if they need it.
Ara and Saujana is just another area to stay in and go golf on weekend. 3 of them.

Not to discriminate but who could pay for the million price tag property here is different class than average joe.
And they prefer to drive their nice car to park at work place.
Rental would be difficult here due to price tag, but again example, I don't want a home near any University and have all student bring in party all night.

Your bg/gf/husband/wife not prefect but you love them most than anyone else. Same thing apply here only.

My 2cent, don't shoot me.

Beside current Ara station will be LRT 3 station.
I plan to stay here and i drive, but at least i know i could hail a Grab to the station if ever use it.
I don't need it within 100m of my house.
Just different perspective.

lol those that drive BM Merc dont go out/come back at peak hours. Those like you that does not drive one probably squeeze out there by LDP/Jalan Airport or Tropicana. 5000+ unit of condo including those that are building is still waiting for a tenant. If the place really take off, regardless as an investor heaven or own stay, if you have no plan to transit into PT mode and keeping a 8-5 job somewhere at KL or PJ or even Subang, good luck to your home.

There are many young expats working at symphony near Citta mall, Aegis is among the many companies hiring tons of foreign talents i.e. Koreans for their call center(but doubt they can afford high rental though)

Japanese school at Saujana is nearby too so I suspect there are expats nearby to a certain degree. Also heard from insider that a bulk deal at block B H2o was recently completed, buyer is a Japanese firm or some sort.

on the contrary jap and koread call center guys - earns the highest - my team most of the japs stays alone in mont kiara where the rent can go about 2.5k a month - most of them has a car as well - so they dont mind staying bit further away ... their average pay for a technical guy is about 7-8k - to begin and some can hit 10 - 12k

if you observe the number of school buses at the Japanese school (really dropped glasses) you will know that many school kids aren't live nearby.

Hi.. I’m an owner in Block B... the unit is 1,500 sq feet and didn’t come with the renovation upgrade option previously... so pretty much a bare unit.

I’m currently looking for contacts to do a simple renovation; lightning, kitchen cabinet, built in wardrobe, curtains etc...

Previously management did intro an ID personnel but that person was unresponsive. If any good recommendations, please do pm me.

The presence of expats in the area of potpourri is noticeable. Not substantial, but noticeable. Consists mostly of Koreans, Japanese, and some westerners.
Japanese I assume is families with children attending the Japanese school opposite.
The fact that H2O markets their property as ‘mizu’ (water in Japanese) probably signifies they want a bigger chunk of the jap populations in the market.

Many Japanese will live next door at H2o or Mizu Residence due to the cooperation between Titijaya and Tokyu land company, they basically own the whole block B.
