Anyone got SMS on the 50% cash back on weekend dining (first come first serve)? Spend 3 times any amount on weekdays to qualify. It's by invitation.

I called HLB CS to make a category switch but was told only effective January 2016 because category switch cut off date is 25 of every month? Is that the case? FAQ mention can switch anytime.

4. Maintenance Category

(a) Cardholders are given the option to change the enrolled categories (excluding Bonus Category). For each change of category, a one-time maintenance service fee (the “Fee”) of Ringgit Malaysia of Ten and Sen Sixty (RM10.60), comprises of maintenance service fee = RM10.00; 6% of GST = RM0.60, will be charged at the point of maintenance.

(b) New enrolment for WISE Card will be effective on the 1st of the following calendar month (“Effective Date”) subject to the maintenance request made on or before 25th of the calendar month; and the initial enrolment will automatically be deactivated simultaneously when the new enrolment takes place.

if i'm not mistaken, category change on/before 25th this month, effective 1st of the following month (1 Dec)

if change after 25th this month (i guess it's by block, so, any days on/before 25th Dec), effective is the following month (1 Jan)

I received the sms today. I have 2 Visa cards with HLB. Is it the 3x week day swipe can come from both cards? Fro example card1 I swipe 2x and card2 I swipe another 1x. So is it total to 3x already then I can choose any card to use for 50% weekend dining CB?

Like I mentioned many times, people can apply and request all they want but at the end, it still falls back to the banks' discretion.
Salary requirement could be just one of the reasons.

My HLB cards only with shared limit 10k when my other cards can give me more than 20k. Oh well, not like it matters to me because I won't spend so much on these two cards.

Higher CL might make your future applications more difficult.

Well, CCRIS will show the limit.
Higher credit limit will have a higher risk if struck with fraud cases.

My HL Cards (GSC/Essential) also combined share CL with 10K only

When 1st I got My GSC card in 2011 they just give 3K CL, on the 2nd year topped the CL up to 3.5k & till Last Year They only increased the CL to RM10k when I pair up My GSC with Essential... sweat.gif

Also seldom used HLB CC but only Utilized on Movie date with GSC card 

FYI, I do have Citibank & HSBC VS with CL 72 & 50K but hardly used on them... whistling.gif

Yes the bank offering cards will look into current available cards and offer better. I have never had new cards with lower limit than existing. Always higher or at least same.

Well, the same for me too.
Only HLB offers me the lowest. smile.gif
I requested RHB to reduce my limit. I will get CIMB to reduce as well.

I think it should be x3 swipes per card. Maybe better to call HLB CS and ask them?

it's ok lah, not irritate so much... because my current cl still higher than @fly126 icon_idea.gif

i always swipe for my family, that's why always use it a lot

but since the rejection from hlb, I'll use other cards that give me higher cl such as citi, mbb charge...

fed up with hlb...

currently taking hlb plat, essential and mach... will look for better alternative option hmm.gif hmm.gif
