It's normal la. All cards have that, it is just a pre-authorized amount to block your credit limit.

if yes, why go to the counter?? you wont get cashback if swipe inside the counter lah.

the only qualified cashback is swipe at pump.

you should be thankful because the worker unable to swipe at the counter. otherwise you won't get any cb for that transaction.

i didnt get my cash back in my first month's statement.
so i thought it will be reflected in my second month's statement.

i got the second month yest, and still no cash back in the bill.
anyone care to enlighten me where it's shown/reflected?
or if i need to call customer service to get it checked?

when is your statement date? the cb will be given on the 28th of the following month. but provided you fulfilled the min requirements of >rm50 x 10times on the calendar month.

cashback tabulation is not based on statement cycle.

your 1st and 2nd month statement could've cover transactions in the month of October, so you would see the cashback in HLConnect on 28 November (i.e. would be shown in your next statement on 25 Dec).


Assuming statement cycle: 25th

1st statement: 26 Sep - 25 Oct <-- pray that you didnt spend on the month of Sep
2nd statement: 26 Oct - 25 Nov <-- October transactions ended in this statement. As u said, didnt see any cashback in this statement (on 28 Oct), means you didnt spend on Sep or didnt meet the requirements of min 10xRM50 transactions.
3rd statement: 26 Nov - 25 Dec <-- cashback on 28 Nov, for October transactions

i get to know from sri petaling branch manager min cl for plat is 15k, but mine was far lower than that

Why did you apply for a Plat HLB Wise?

Like I mentioned many times, people can apply and request all they want but at the end, it still falls back to the banks' discretion.
Salary requirement could be just one of the reasons.

My HLB cards only with shared limit 10k when my other cards can give me more than 20k. Oh well, not like it matters to me because I won't spend so much on these two cards.

Higher CL might make your future applications more difficult.

My plat was not wise, i just tumpang wise thread
i don't have wise card
mine plat just generic plat
but already hold for many years and cl remain for long
payment record never late pay
several times almost over limit but settle in time
very frust with hlb
if got better card and cl remain same sure terminate all facilities in hlb
including hlib

Bank can give you any limit they want, nothing to do with BNM really.

I never had cards with more than 20K and yet I used to have a StanChart Plat at 65K.
