size is doesnt matter as long can fit..
mine is DIN75 (Silver calcium battery) .. damage RM583 (incld 6% gst)
*
Actually higher the DIN, larger will be the size and may not fit into our battery box. But you have managed to find DIN77 to fit nicely! What brand is this?

Thanks Sky
Just got battery change by Century Battery Assist, they replace for me Din55L at RM300-RM15(trade in old bat)
He siad Din 66 or 75 cannot not fit into my battery compartment (too long), not sure how true...
Mine earlier Delkor Din55 (56077) replaced at SC Kota Damansara on 19/7/2014 (RM560).

Bro, how to change battery with engine running? my car cannot start already.
If i change with engine off, after change do i need to go SC for setting?
*
That's good price for DIN 55. I think higher DIN battery by Century are larger in size, cannot fit into our battery box. There are other brands that will fit into our battery box, but do not go for unknown brands. For sure they will not last, even though higher DIN.

If battery dead, one way is to jump start engine before battery change. As far as I know, you need to go to SC for reset, unless the Century Battery Assist have the equipment to reset and have done it for you. Just check with them.

Guys,

I just called Glenmarie for 60k service, but they said they are full until 17 May! Unfortunately, Glenmarie is more convenient for me during weekdays, since I have some sound I want them to look at.

I read complains about geotauto, what are your views/experience?

Anywhere else with good service near Subang I can send my car in to?

Thanks.

EDIT:
Any smaller SCs but better service will do. Please recommend.
Another SC in KL sort of told me a while back that they are *very busy*, when I asked why it will take 2 weeks for my enhancement package, instead of 10 days. I am getting real tired.

Bro, Geoauto is ok now. Sometime back they had some issues.but sorted out already. I've used them 3times already, no complaints.

You may try Seta Alam, but 1week for enhancement package is normal. I think as more pug owners are becoming aware of this package SC will take longer to fix a date. 3 of my friends came to of this package through me....hahaha!

Hi bro, thanks for the info, that's good to know. Is it easy to find parking at Geoauto? I have to send my car in at about 615am, to avoid jam etc, then find my way to go to work. Is it safe to leave car key with security guards?

Edit: my car has some ringing sound coming from under the steering, towards the left, when going over uneven roads sad.gif

As for enhancement package, I was told by CSL that it would take "at least" 2 weeks. I thought that's ridiculous.

Thanks.

It is not possible to park your car inside that early, Geoauto gates open at 7:30 only, if not mistaken. Remember waiting once at the gate, was there at 7am. Maybe you can leave your car there after work, hand in keys to reception the day before! Not sure what time they close, good idea to call. It is safe as the gates are closed at night and 24hr security. I saw 6 -7 customer cars parked overnight.

Check with SC on steering ringing sound.

2 weeks is too long la for most ppl, unless have spare car.

Hi Guys, I've just booked a 408T which is currently being offered at Rm86,888 with 5yrs unlimited mileage warranty manufactured in 2016.

Drove the car and loved it, despite it lacking keyless entry, push start and projector lights. Well at this price, I rather go for the pug rather than your city/almera clan.

However, I'm rather sceptical now after going through some Facebook comments for Peugeot on it's reliability on Peugeot pages. I've a friend that says that the engine and turbo are problematic. Some even say that spare parts are expensive, and in a nutshell advised me to stay away from it and stick to Japanese models.

See comments for reference: https://m.facebook.com/Peugeot/photos/a.129...2717099/?type=3

I rely heavily on my transport and my persona has not let me down in the 4 years of ownership except for the thirst. 40 litres tank gets me 350/370 km pure city commutes.

To the pug owners, I look up to your advise in sealing the deal or breaking it.

Thank you.

I owned this 408T since 2012, paid 120K for it with 3+2 Warranty. The current price with upgraded 5 years Warranty is a STEAL! However, there are things you need to consider before committing. Firstly, this ain't Jap and you can't expect the same level of reliability or cost of spares. While I certainly do not face as much problem as the dude in FB, my 408T was hospitalized 3 times over 4 years (1) ElectroValve sensor - 4 days, (2) Temperature sensor - 2 days and (3) Turbo Kit issues - 2 months. You do need a SPARE CAR at home unless you could negotiate a courtesy car from your SC. Fuel consumption for pure city commutes is about the same as your Persona.

The choices are between a reliable & boring car vs higher maintenance & exciting/spirited car. Based on my ownership experience, with the deal you're getting (heavily discounted + 5 years) I would get TWO! drool.gif

That's what I told others. Although it has relatively more downtime compared to Japs or Potongs, but the safety features and fun factors are much better, so one has to decide what one wants.

It was a much difficult decision to make when the price was 120k, now that the price is 86k.....well.

Another way to look at this: if you get to choose your birthday present - either city or 408T, which one would you take?

I've had mine for over a year with no major trouble. Maintenance is pricey but you're paying for safety. Bros are right, price is an absolute steal!

P/s: The 408T accelerator pedal will make you believe everyday is your birthday smile.gif.
