guys,

my pug has the same compressor issue but mine was more severe. The bearing broke and metal bits went into the system. They had to replace the condenser as well as the metal bits were clogging it.

It took me 1 months to get it replaced. I was lucky as the car were still drive-able for the initial 2 weeks to wait for the whole compressor, 1 week to get the compressor installed and the final week to wait for the condenser to arrive and installed.

My 60k kms major service were also completed at the same time. RM2.2k burnt!!

I was told only PJ, Glenmarie and Balakong has actual air cond technicians (which are also outsourced) to repair the cooling system. If you send your car to any other SC, they will be driven to their panel repairer.

oh yes, they also made a silent recall for the water pump. it was replaced FOC.

So problematic this car. damn.

It's not a problematic car, it's air con problem. Air con is not made by Peugeot!

The touch screen "claimed" to be original is actually just an aftermarket device just like others, it is not officially from Peugeot.
You can simply source from the market at your own sweet time.

Changing the audio system does and/ or doesn't affect warranty is still up to the Naza decision, unless the SA can provide black and white to support on his statement that Peugeot/ Naza won't void the warranty.

Yes. The ordering of part takes 1-2 weeks.
The replacement can be done within half day.

You still can drive your car around while waiting for the part, once the part arrive den only send in for replacement.

Skyjack and jfcheong,

Thanks mate.. But the SA is not confirmed with the faulty. he said if its compressor issue then it will take 3-4 days. If other that that will take more time to order and fix... How come the SA dont aware a usual issue for our model... Aisshh..

Bro, SA are not technical trained. I presume he's just guessing. You need to have the problem diagnosed at the SC.

When I had the problem I took it to SC for inspection. It was diagnosed and the part was ordered. I went home and waited for them to call me. 2 weeks later they called me. I went to SC and the air con was fixed in about 4hrs.

Oh ya, you are right, not all Peugeot SC do in house air con repairs. This cos the air con is not manufactured by Peugeot. Maybe bro lucifal can help, I think SC in Kajang does in house air con repairs. Or you can call other SC in Klang Valley, ask them if they handle air con repairs.

I'm in Seremban. Did mine at Seremban Blue Box.

Twice for the compressor itself.
Compressor kong first time, got it replaced after 2 weeks.
2 days later after the compressor replaced, the same symptom appeared, sent back to SC, diagnosed as compressor failure again.
Got it changed again.

i think we can narrow down the defective parts as:

1. fuel pump
2. thermostat
3. a/c compressor
4. water pump

what else?

Sometime ago bro lowpro gave some very good advice. Can't remember his exact words but basically not to voluntarily list problems/defects openly.

Openly listing tends to have a negative perception on the model and may even affect RV on the long run. Ppl always tend to pickup negative issues to highlight.

Best to be positive always. Cheers bros & happy new year!

Dont know what happen, the brand new compressor just gone failure in just 2 days.
Most jialat is, after the 2nd compressor installed, the aircon is not cold. The SC cant solve, sent to their authorised aircon vendor, spent 2 days to solve it.
