Hi guys. VIP5 user here. Got a question to ask.

Im a PC user and I use Ethernet cable to connect for internet. BUT everytime when my bro or sis start using their apple products (basically macbooks and ipads), my ping just becomes crazily unusable. Lowest ping I can get is around 100-200 but usually can spike up to 1k ping. DL speed can drop below 1mbps.

Its so frustrating that when they just touch their macbooks and ipads, my ping suffer whereas when they use non-apple products its perfectly fine.

Any ideas why this happen and any suggestion to fix this problem? Apart from upgrading of course because gov thinks we grow money on trees and can afford expensive but slow internet.

I'm living in a high rise building. last time is used to be below 15. but now its 25.
and also when comparing to my friends unifi which is also high rise he's getting 9ms.
I called TM and they said that my port on their end is working fine.
my download and upload speed is working good. 30Mbps/5Mbps.
My only issue is the ping rate.

Just report to SKMM. Based on few of the early adopters' feedback, they got called by TM and fixed an appointment to get RM 20 discount which they did.

Just call 100 or fastest just walk in to the nearest TM.
I think those agents on LYN also can help you to upgrade. There are a few active on this thread as well.

No hidden la. Upload speed is 5Mbps but seeing you upgrade from VIP 5 so it's not a problem more applicable to those from VIP 10. No more free landline calls.

Not bothered about Land lines as nobody calls land lines anymore + my phone calls are subsidized by my company.

Comes with the crappy IPTV which nobody uses but nevertheless, 30 mb for 179 is a steal

I am using asus rt n12 hp is there any issues on this router with 30mbps speed?

does the 30Mbps UniFi advance come with dynamic or static IP?

Did you guys file a complaint at SKMM or the consumer forum (cfm)? Went to skmm complaint web page, it says that we should go to provider, then cfm before going to them. Is filing through cfm good enough? I've just got a standard reply through twitter.
