Huhuhuhuh..

Today.. After 1 week+ of ownership. I underestimated the length of the car, and went into a parking lot deeper than I should. I scratched my front bumper down there, I think it's the bodykit that I scratched.  cry.gif  cry.gif  mega_shok.gif

Scratched against the curb. It was a painful sound. Front view no damage, have to bend down and look only can see the damage (thank god no front view damage)

As bro cwkc93 punya wise words. "Oh well take it as the car sudah "dirasmikan" or "officiated" for our non-BM speaking owners."  sweat.gif

So guys, where can I buy this EzyTouchUp Paint? and how much does the bottle cost?
*
I got mine from jusco. ~RM50. Mine also badly scratched when I went to a farm at camerons then as I was going downhill then there was a very deep puddle.

hmm rm50 just for base coat? I saw at Ezy's website if base coat 1 bottle RM38

I'm thinking of buying their combo set, Got base coat, clear coat, wax & grease remover and rubbing compound for RM63.

If jusco so expensive, then i'll just order online then..

Ok price aside, are you satisfied with the product? I see a lot ppl recommend it for scratches, etc.

Btw bro adijb, just to double confirm with u, silver moon dust code is A0206?
Cause there's Silver Moon Dust (A0206) and Moon Dust Silver (A0209).

Thanks in advance guys!.

Just so-so, if you have good painting skills and patience up to 2 hours(unlike me) then you'd be super satisfied, it covers up well, but not perfect

had my fair share of scratches too, except mine lg sakit hati cz was not caused by me, some #!?#!@$&@ took a poor cornering & scatched my right rear bumper paint.. ordered my set of 4 bottle Ezypaint online, fast delivery. 1-2 work days
well, satisfaction depends if u hv good skills & patience, then the defect will be not tat conspicuous. it wont completely disappear, but its acceptable. mine was pretty long scratch though

hmm.gif I never put my windows down, as I always have the AC on.. Does this mean that whenever any of us open our rear windows we will have an issue too?
*
I don't have this issue with my 1.3 cvt and i use it more than the 1.6. No issue with the rear windows.

Tomorrow will know what happened to my car.

Do share the outcome. It could be different than mine. You should be able to argue that the car is still new. Mine was already about 6 months old when it happened

Yikes! Got 2 similar color code? Didn't realized that when i ordered. I bought the A0209 one. Unless i'm color blind, i don't see much difference between the original color and that of the easy paint one. And i bought the 4 bottles set one too

I'm sitting in my car right now, waiting for my girlfriend and I have observed a few new and some other not so new things.

1. If I switch the car off I need to put it in reverse (MT) so that the gear will lock. And then I can cycle acc, on, off... With the button.

2. If I get in the car and go through the button settings of acc, on, off, it will only let me do it once. Then it will stay with the start button off. And the radio switches off after eight min or so.

3. If I go to the browser and open YouTube without switching the car to "on" straight from unlocking the car gives me a warning that I can't play videos because my handbrake isn't on. Even though the handbrake is on. So I need to cycle the button to "on". Then I bring it back to off and the car won't come back to "acc" rclxub.gif

4. If is switch the car off and then back on my lcd wasn't responsive anymore. Until I got off somewhere else, switched the car off and locked it and when I came back all back to normal.

Has anyone seen any of these things happen?

yes on their web there's two codes. One is Silver Moon Dust (A0206), the other Moon Dust Silver (A0209).

Anyway, I checked the plate at driver side door, colour code is 209. Which is the Moon Dust silver (A0209) on EzyTouchUp's site. So the name is different from what Proton calls it.. Hmm lucky haven't buy..

Guys wanna ask, the damages i'm gonna show, it's the bodykit right? Cause when i bend down and look under, the damaged panel is connected to the car frame by some screws.. Can anyone confirm that it is indeed the bodykit that is damaged and not the bumper?

Click to enlarge to see full-size image..

Left side of bodykit no damage.

Center of bodykit
Attached Image

Right side of bodykit where most of the damage is at
Attached Image

All are the view underneath where you need to bend down and look under to see..

As for the frontal/top view.

As you can see, from the frontal/top view you cant really see the damage at all, so if you guys can confirm to me that it's the bodykit that is damaged, then i might not EzyTouchUp paint it as I have to be lying down on the floor to paint it back, which is quite a hassle. So I will just leave it be. On that note, is it alright if I leave it like that?

Need some tips on this........read from this forum someone recommend felton multi tray medium size from mr.diy.......i just bought one unit and try putting into our iriz boot but it seems a little big to install. .......any advice on putting it into our iriz's boot?......thanks a million

I now have the infamous knocking sound on my dashboard, at the passenger side too......also rear passenger side seat belt making noise when it's being pull and retract
*
Just cut the edge of the tray as shown in the attachment and it will fit nicely into the boot.

Went to service centre to rectify my power window problem today. .......seems like the power window buttons panel was not fully inserted into the socket causing a short result the fuse located at the fuse panel at the engine bay to burn........just replace the fuse settled it, foc.

Inquire about adding some part for my standard iriz to be installed at the service centre........spotlights and boot light not advice to install, saying warranty void.........as about handgrip for rear passenger, said will not installed as it might damage the interior if they install and advice me to buy from them but go outside to install.........trunk scuff plate cover they can install, asked them to install but no stock so order from them and install on later date.

While waiting at service centre just now, saw that standard iriz have different type of antenna then the higher specs.......standard spec has long thin antenna while the higher specs have thicker and short antenna which looks nicer......
