I'd totally be up for it.

I think that probably the most important feature would be to have access to other useful car android nav apps. You could take your inspiration from Android Auto and work from there forward.

We have 4G on our cars and it's a waste not being able to use Google maps or Waze, also, it would be nice to have the option to play Spotify music straight from the HU instead of plugging in your phone through the AUX In or by Bluetooth.
The beauty of having an Android HU is that we would have the opportunity to use other apps and not only those built in.

Interface-wise, most regular Japanese and Korean cars have the same interface. They have the menu laid out in a grid and big buttons to help the aim while you're driving.

I'd like to experiment with this if you'd be taking upon yourself to make this launcher for our HUs.

I dont have the HU but my recommendations are:
1. Large icons for easy pressing while driving.
2. Android 4.0 for more app support.
3. No disabling wifi(when releasing handbrake or something).
4. Google maps bundled and several useful apps.
5. Remove all unnecessary bloatware.
6. Responsive.

I not really sure about turning the wifi on even u release handbrake. maybe i try to look at Tasker to force it on even u release handbrake
I would be nice to use Google Maps or Waze but the app is not compatible with our os. most of the popular apps support android 4.0+ (Ice Cream Sandwich and above)
I cannot change the os version. im only developing an app that could change the look of the HU only. i dont have the hardware to make a custom ROM for the HU

confirm got chasis /engine allocated for you first then sign
you wont getting car after you sign , as you may need to pay downpayment (if loan lower then 90% )，　choose number plate , NCD transfer maybe .

Chasis? You mean ready stock? The SA said I can get the car anytime just that the bank is damn slow in processing. Affinnn bank to be exact.

SA said need to get the offer letter from bank to book the car coz many people wanting to get the car also but slowpoke Affin bank.

I will go to Affin bank to sign my document tmr and buy my car number plat this Thursday. Downpayment anytime can give to SA.
