The FC calculation on the multi information display doesn't seem to be accurate. My "average" stayed at 8.5L/100km but when I did a more accurate calculation it's only 6.1L/100km.

My guess is the difference in how one calculate one's fc. Calculating based on mileage and actual fuel consume vs relying on the meter panel.

Will be getting my 1.3 standard mt expected this wed and will share my fc. Will put on max savings mode when driving it except for the air cond that will always be turned on. My avanza will be rested for a while.. biggrin.gif

certainly not due to the seat. I had that problem from time to time. Nowadays no more. I assume it entered when doors open or from AC?

Just got my car yesterday. 1.6mt premium atlantic blue. Straight away drive from Kedah to KL lol. Did a fair bit of highway and federal road. A quick impression:

1. Handling is superb. As expected from a Proton smile.gif
2. Gearing is a bit short? I mean 5th gear 110km/h in 3k rpm. I was hoping it to be around 2800 rpm. I would prefer if in 4th gear, 90km/h is around 3krpm smile.gif Now it's 3000 rpm in 80km/h
3. Maybe there is a function of resuming the last song position? It's kinda annoying to start from track 1 again(yes, I still have CDs) everytime I started the car.
4. Apart from that the cabin is great, seat is superbly comfortable.

After installing window tint cannot operate power window for 2 days. Yesterday at Slim River there is no smart tag so I have to open the door. People behind me might think. "Waa new car power window oredi fail aaa?" XD

Maybe there is an option for that in the HU. I'll look it up.

Mine is calculated based on mileage. Also I tend to drive quite eco. Light on the right foot, low RPM shifts, and slow/moderate acceleration and tend to cruise at 5th gear. Only difference is when I'm rushing or when I just entered a highway and need to pick up speed then I will go at about 4-5k RPM at 3rd and/or 4th as well. Also I drive with 1-2 car length gap to reduce needs of sudden hard braking and then picking up speed.

I know the excitement but when SA handing over the car to you, please triple check everything before signing the documents.

Even if they say already check every single damn thing, you yourself check every thing again

the HU is bad because of the UI looks like our mobile UI. not really suitable for car use
if anyone would develop a launcher(not ROM) for the HU for free with your feedback and need, would you use it?
