I think you dont really have to worry much cuz its in their system.

Gotten my Iriz on 26th Oct

guys,

i drive my baby iriz for almost 4months,
what i realized is, it is so hard to see when it is raining, the wiper does not helping at all..the vision becomes so blur

second is,
i normally use smartag, but one day i need to use touch n go and when i open my window and close it back, the mirror from both sides becomes foggy (because it is cold inside and hot outside)...its block my view to see the side mirrors.
i try to turn on the "hot air button" (idk the name, lol) but it didnt work.

have yoy guys know the solution? especially on the foggy mirror part?

What's the best place to buy the Iriz ah? COE at Glenmarie or any Proton agent will do?

Also best to buy now or wait to next year? Cos my car just serviced for 100,000 km and want to use it a bit before replacing.

if you plan to use it long term and dont care for resale value (>5 years) then buy in 2016 for 2015's stocks, will get massive discounts.

Hi guys, I would like to ask why is there this kind of brownish substance found on the Radiator cap and mouth of a 4 day old Proton Iriz 1.3 Standard CVT? is this RUST or something else?

Hi!........i think you should drive your car to the SC to let them check what liquid is that.
Coolant it's in blue color or green color but in Iriz it's in blue color.
Do check the temperature when you are driving..........make sure it's in 3 bars (Normal temperature)

Coolant is blue.. when I checked on the 3rd day it was already on the 3/4 mark (not even full). Temp gauge always stays on 3 bars.. I am really not familiar with the service warranty of Proton.. they should not charge me for this right?

is it grease? touch it and see oily or not?

but it does look like rust.

try wash the rust away with water. dry it and place it back. Next few days check it back..

it is 3/4 mark from the tank. But it is full. If you look closely you can see a Max and Min line. The coolant will be at the Max evel. Even in Owner Manual they gave a visual guide..

if i not worng some car when you put on reverse the cam display up radio off ....if you put back D the radio on back .

Some? Isn't that a function for all iriz with reverse cam?

Try applying rainX on ur windscreen on the outside. Easier to see in the rain but if not enough water wipers may sound squeaky.

If cold on the inside then need to balance the temperature of inside and outside. I believe the hot air button thing you are talking about is the rear window demister which wouldnt help side windows. I think leaving the windows open for a while would help.

not oily. its color brownish.. seems to me that it is indeed rust.. I was just wondering why on a new car..

Check and see if your coolant level is still full and is the colour correct.

Maybe someone think that it is not full, top up with water?

Or you can bring back SC and make a complaint.

I should check mine but can never seem to open radiator cap. Just wouldnt open no matter how i twist and pull it.

Nope....still haven't install the rear grab handles yet, didn't have time to open up the panels to check.....will update here once I have done, cheers
