Were u driving alone or driving with passengers/luggage? With I tried I had 4 adults including me and some luggage. Tested on NSE and even floored the gas.

I bought the adjustable back in 2010 with 4kg spring rate, when i service it last year i had it tune to my liking. Bought it at kakimotor for RM820 cos they're having a promotion that time but its just height adjustable.

I was expecting your MT to be able to go higher. Even Proton's official claim is that MT able to go 165km/h while CVT max is only 160km/h as per their website..

Anyway for the interest of research, Friday midnight or Saturday midnight I will try and push, see what speeds I can go up to..

seriously bro? You got do any mods to your Iriz? Cause Proton's official claim for MT top speed is 165km/h only.. Even if they understated their top speed, let's say can go 170 but that will be really pushing it to the limits already. But you said can go 170 easily..

Anyway guys, I am happy to say that for my dashboard rattle, it is mostly solved for now. Will it come back in the future? I dont know.. But for now it's good..

What I mean by that is, previously my dashboard rattle was coming from the left side, something underneath the dashboard was loose. After sent for service, they did something to it and now that place doesn't make sounds anymore. Last time, even on flat roads sounds will come out, now on bumpy roads it doesn't..

However, my right side a-pillar is having minor rattles now. After investigating I realised the a-pillar plastic cover is a lil bit loose, I guess the guy didn't close it properly or something. So it's the a-pillar plastic rubbing against the dashboard plastic.. Not a big deal as it is quite faint and I guess can be easily resolved.

The only thing not solved is my door rattle. In fact it got worst. Previously it rarely rattles. But after service, the door rattle happened more frequently. But putting slightest pressure on the door handle like resting hand there or what the rattle stops..

I also need to rest my hand on the door to stop the rattle.

Is 165 for 1.3 or 1.6? I remember PICM saying 1.3 is 139 during the talk with proton CTO. I remember on NSE flooring the pedal and it would not even touch 140.

Proton solved this issue for me.

165 for 1.3 MT
160 for 1.3 CVT.

175 for 1.6 MT
170 for 1.6 CVT..

Maybe that could explain why. The car itself is already so heavy + 4 adults and luggage around 250kg of extra weight

No, just the normal silicone sealant used for construction.

Probably this was the reason the 1.3cvt feel faster, iriz is slow from 0-30kmh but after that, nothing much can beat it.

My bad. Just now when I was driving and saw my meter then it dawn on me. The position the meter was pointing to was 159 not 139. I cant remember who rubbished me off last time when i said 159 and they said impossible, must be only 139. My apologies .
