from what i've known from experience, bank islam's hire purchase department is relatively small hence the longer wait time and one of their hire purchase selling point is the grad scheme

if u are looking for an islamic hire purchase, any bank has it. just ask for an islamic hire purchase, even pbb n hlb has it

I have no idea bro as I've left the hire purchase industry a while back just fyi the banks know the current discounts/promo given by the dealer so they know u are not paying anything or only pay a small sum of money

site visitation is done because u possess more risk than normal customer

if u are gainfully employed, try rhb as they have the best rate in town

bank islam if u are only utilizing their graduate scheme hire purchase

pbb if u are a business owner as their weightage on business income calculation is more than other bank

mbb if u are a government servant or u wanna hassle free document submission as their documentation is not strict

ambank if your dsr is > 60%, high commitment, no guarantor, no downpayment/100% financing (car with no rebate/promo)

bank rakyat if u are a government servant as they provide lower interest rate than market rate

do take note that the EIR (effective int rate) is lower the shorter your hire purchase term is, do not confuse it with nominal/counter rate (rate quoted by the banks/on your LOU (letter of undertaking) which states that the int would be lower if u are taking long term hire purchase

from what my sources at bank islam said, they have an approval committee for the grad scheme
