I am planning to get Proton Iriz 1.3 Manual Standard. The thing is I'm still studying, but my parents agreed to be my guarantor.

As of that, I'm just wondering where can I find the best deal around? (Selangor/KL)

Oh and if you guys don't mind if I ask, are there any pros and cons of getting this variant? (there are more than 80 pages to read), a little help would save the hassle.

I think for the manual model the Push to Start button sequence is not thoroughly thought out. I have had similar issues and I have no solutions for it yet. I think this would need a software update and get the car plugged in at Proton once they have it figured out. Same thing goes to leaving the car in neutral, which is a bit annoying (I never do it, I just leave it in reverse all the time).

Have you sign your loan agreement?

I will sign it only tomorrow. my SA insisted that I'll get my car before the month ends.. And she keep saying that blue is hard to get..silvermoon dust easier

Where the location of chassis no..? My Dealer didn't tell me about chassis no. Even in loan letter and warranty book

I would say MyVi more suitable for those who takes a car as a car.

Iriz is for those who are passionate about cars, who takes cares of the car in hope the car cares for the owner in return.

Good Iriz, I stucked at car park right now and my push start button aren't working.  Clap hands.... Got no idea what to do now..  Still have to back office for urgent matter.

old way of thinking. Same as ppl advice to warm up car before moving. Totally pointless, wasting fuel and harming the environment. Not to forget, you don't even actually warm your car up by idling. Moving the car will get the engine warmed up in 1-2 mins but letting the car idle for 10 mins doesn't even get the engine warmed up enough for optimal performance.

Drive however you want during break-in period, just apply common sense to what you want to do to your car. Don't redline it, do burnouts or donuts, etc etc.

Machines & lubricants these days are so advanced, a lot of the "break-in practices" are practically myths..
