Rev-matching should be no problem and should be better than just dropping gear without rev matching. Takes a lot of practice to master. Lazy way for me is I just drop gear and slowly release clutch so that the gear sleeve(I believe its what its called. Its the part that the transmission connects to before the gear to sort of ensure that both spin at the same speed) balances everything.

i suspect got sand on the road, thats why the car skidded
*
Nope, i mean before he skidded into sandy area(idk how to call it) he drive into the corner by taking up a lil bit opposite lane, but somehow he straight then continue cornering(maybe he afraid hitting the car on opposite way) so he ended up on that sand area..

*Heel-toe is harder than what the other guy does. Also heel-toe includes the need to brake while downshifting. Fuel consumed by this is almost insignificant.

i can do that when i'm using my old car(kenari).. but sadly a lil bit hard to do on iriz.. huhuh.. if i can do that again, definitely will be nice..
btw it's easier to match rev without using heel-toe technique, you need to practice it, a lot. before you really do it on normal occasion..

Currently using SJcam as dashcam..
Works well and price is very affordable...
Can use as action cam as well if needed....
Parts & accessories are cheap with decent quality...
But it stands out obviously if not removed.

O.o regarding manual transmission down gear going through corner you can somehow avoid clutch/gear wear by matching the rpm. For example currently using 3rd gear  2k rpm and you going through corner you can drop the gear into 2nd gear(don't release clutch yet) press your throttle(until rpm 3) then release your clutch. i always do like this to match my speed and my rpm..

is it ok for me to do like this? i learn this kind of thing from internet, people discussing about it but somehow i forgot what car club forum i get it from. If you find it wrong please do enlighten me
*
My current practice when cornering with mt cars is to free the gear and cruise, brake when needed. When i want to speed up, i engage a suitable gear dan speed up.

Been doing this for over 5 years. Clutch wear seems to be less then usual as per toyota larkin service advisor comment to me when they checked the clutch this year on my avanza.

Hey guys,

So, in general all dashcams are pretty much the same. I've used like 3 or 4 and they have the same settings and all. I recommend you get Class 10 memory cards for them, to avoid corrupt files and proper read/write speed.

Then, also this dude has great reviews on dash cameras...

http://www.techmoan.com/what-is-the-best-dashcam/

A two camera setup would set you back like... 40 USD which I think it's super cheap from AliExpress (I got mine there).

I have in my Iriz this camera (also, it's very stealthy because of how the mirror on the Iriz is mounted with that black overlay it's very hard to tell there's anything there so it's basically hidden unless you get real close):

I realized most if not all dash cams on Lazada are shipped from China (unsurprisingly). Ordered mine as I had a RM50 voucher so only had to top up a bit but kinda worried about the quality.

Does anyone know how to line the wire around the windscreen and A-pillar to the cigarette lighter in a discreet manner? I.e as invisible as possible. Easiest way is to let the wire dangle directly from the rear view mirror down the center console but it's kinda ugly.

Hide the cable under the rooftop liner between the windshield and the liner. Then, route it through the rubber that holds the plastic panels on the A pillar and then through the glove box compartment and take it out behind the middle console and plug it to your cigarette lighter.
