Someone on Iriz FB page manage to get them for rm200 per donut. Thats klang valley area. If sarawak here we'll have to pay arm and leg for michelin since it's worshipped by many as the best tyre here.

Ihad this issue when i took the delivery of my iriz. I almost hit another car On the 2nd day of driving it. had to floor the pedal to stop. send back to SC on 3rd day and they said they just bleed the excess air from the brake line. then everything works just fine.

yes its normal, dealers wont bear the cost. go to proton edar service centre. They might bear the cost. where are you located btw?

you hantam holes alot? send back to SC, check the lower arm and try doing high speed balancing. Maybe that will help

check your tyre pressure too, should be 210kPa

apple auto is useless for warranty claims, superbly slow and they like to ask u to put extra additives into your engine during service which can cost you up to 200+ for basic service without labour.

I send in my car to them for warranty claim.My handbrake light 1 month later only they call me to come collect i didnt go till now, reason why?

simple, i went to proton edar sungai besi on the spot they change for me the handbrake sensor.

haha i experienced the same thing. Apparently after 500km done on my car, the brake was superbly good. I presume its the first layer of the brake lining when you get the car new. Its not a serious issue once the brake pads are in good order

You should juz go...see what silliness they change..
Like my experience, complaint water not coming out at back washer...authorized SC asked to change wiper motor..

CVT users, when I go downhill (for my case, at Damansara Heights near HELP Uni, that stretch of downhill road), and the car is in "D" so going downhill I take my foot off the accelerator pedal.. When the car rolling downhill, the engine becomes super loud. Like really really loud, and the RPM goes up to around 3k (accelerator pedal is not touched)

Is it like that? The sound makes me super worried, so i'm forced to press the brakes to slow the car down, and cant cruise with speed down that downhill slope..

The noise it makes is as if, the car is going uphill instead. But not even pressing the accelerator pedal.

Normal because the engine break is applied on that condition, if you drive manual also the same
For example you currently using 3rd gear at 3k rpm then you go downhill without pressing the Throttle pedal, the engine noise will be loud.. i don't know if this true or not but based on what i read, the engine breaking is applied on that condition.. Unless if you change your gear to Neutral then the sound will be gone..

It's a well-known characteristic of Proton's CVT gearbox. The downhill braking is very sensitive. The higher rev doesn't make you go faster, but tries to slow you down instead.

If you gently step on the accelerator it'll be less prevalent, but still noticeable. If you want to totally avoid downhill braking, the only way is to shift to N. However, you'll adding a lot more stress on the brakes which will lead to brake fade.

Just did 1k service at Proton Mutiara Damansara, Things get rectified are:

1) Audio imbalance sound system
2) Dashboard Rattling Sound
3) Adjusting alignment

Opt for semi e.oil. The guy over the counter said can go up to 5,000KM but at the display show 9,000KM more for the next service.

Send at 9.30AM get at 5.00PM due to dashboard vibrating problem. Overall satisfied with the service.

Total Damage RM141.23

what do you mean by audio imbalance for the sound system? Is it speakers spoiled or what?

Btw for the dashboard rattle, is your noise from the left side, near the passenger airbag side?
If same place rattling noise, then for my first 1k i wanna go there too if they can rectify the rattling noise..
