Have you tried 100% ron97 before this with your car?
*
If i can share, last month i did try out 2 full tanks of primax97. What i observed was the engine roar a bit dampened. Accelaration was good makes the engine feel very smooth. It made me run abit more than the speed limit than i would normally do. Off FC suffer a bit during that 2 full tanks of 97.

97 doesnt hv strong smell. U dont smell the fuel during refuelling nor within the cabin. 95 smells tend to seeps into the cabin very much.

So for you, 1 full tank of ron97 already provide better responsiveness huh.

Maybe i can try a mixture of petronas ron95 and ron97 instead as there is no BHP nearby my house.
*
1st tank (30+L) of 97 still mixed wt some 95. Even with that i could feel some improvement. 2nd tank (30+L) should hv all 97. Same good feel. And i always use petronas.

No 3rd tank. Too pricey at 2.35. I just wanted to try the euro 4M primax onli. The feel was good but poket koyak no use jugak. So back to 95.

Hahaha yes it is!!! Specially on the 1.6 MT I have. The power band is roughly from 3200 to 4600 RPM. It really pulls.
11.9 km/l is awesome.Though my 2013 Myvi used to get 13.4 km/l but it was 1.3 MT SXi
*
your FC will get better after the 1st service. the engine really pulls after 3K rpm. But if u want to try to improve the FC, try to shift between 2.5K to 3.0K rpm. constantly going over 3K rpm even in top gear will not help the FC figure to go down. that mean u need to drive within the speed limit.

so far i managed to get reasonable figure with my 1.6MT, but have to restrain my right foot all the time.

Previous dunlop mmg suck. No argument there. But i saw some using Bridgestone Ecopia EP200, man that tyre is sexy.
*
i recently change the M5 to ZE914. it is comfortable tyre, feel very soft even at 250kPa (cold). if M5 230kPa feel like batu already. Being soft meaning corner got body roll one. with 914 dashboard rattle disappear on some rough usrfaced road. it is slightly quieter than M5, just slightly. I think CC5 on my previous ride is quieter.

RM160+GST bukit kemuning weng heng

btw, my M5 was 11,000km traded those in they paid RM50x4.

Do you guys get the brake pedal tension readjused  during the 1st service? I need to pedal to great extend and feel like the pedal is almost touching the floor.

Also reminder: do stick two of your weather protector rubber on top of the roof with better quality double sided tape as they could easily come off!
*
Ihad this issue when i took the delivery of my iriz. I almost hit another car On the 2nd day of driving it. had to floor the pedal to stop. send back to SC on 3rd day and they said they just bleed the excess air from the brake line. then everything works just fine.

some owners here managed to get their dashboard rattling solved. Like the other day, someone posted that he send the car to Mutiara Damansara SC, his rattling now solved.

*
not quite, i sent my car there for 10K service and complained about rattling

basicalliy told the SA about 3 rattling issue. vibrate when throttle open driving above 100kmh, tikus sound and steering column sound. they only solved throttle issue. probablly the SA wasnt attentive enough

will bug them again bout this during 2oK serv.

I have the 1.6 manual premium, yes.

This is how you do it to avoid the servo from doing that.

You park at a parking bay.
You're in Reverse, with the clutch all the way in, obviously.
You pull the handbrake and switch the car off. (Doors unlock, car is off, reverse gear is locked instantly)
You proceed to come out of the car and lock the doors.
At this point the car will lock the doors, no servo sound because the gear is locked, so the gear lock doesn't do anything.

Anyone else has this?
*
this is applicable to 1.6MT Premium only. i think the Manual Book mentioned this. Mine is 1.6MT Exec, no issue with servo thingy when parked in N.

Guys, i can't decide whether to go for cvt or mt. Advices needed. (1.3 variant)
*
If you makan jam everyday going and back from work it is better to go for CVT.

i myself chose MT because i only need to makan jam once in a while. Plus i hate the CVT from Punch, experienced it with former Saga FLX for 3 years. not to says it is totally no good, it just matter of personal preferences. Nevertheless i think torque converter CVT is something that i would favour.

regarding EO, before this got mentioned that wecare said using any oil also having 10k service interval..even manual also stated like that

so question: does anyone have tried using semi-syn oil until 10k km? got any noticeable performance drop or problem?
*
last time i used semi pet synt 800 10w-30 for saga FLX 1.3cvt for 10k. no problem

now iriz also semi syt 800 15w-40 for 10K also no prob.

after service normally engine feels solid and tight, towrds the 7-10K engine usually feel "loose" and also "lighter" meaning can rev a bit faster.
