As mentioned a few weeks ago, based on my experience ZTO is cheating when they weigh each parcel at their warehouse. Typically the weight is rounded up to the nearest 100 gram. Eg parcel actual weight 155g will be 200g!

This is on every single parcel, and when you consolidate everything the weight difference will be huge.

Anyone using ZTO currently/most recently please feedback whether this is still happening?

I stopped Using Official DEX-i - ABX since 6 month ago, after all sorts of "restrictions" imposed. Since then i switch to third party Forwarder, namely ECTBUY and also the more affordable Tao-post, to my surprise they uses DEX-i and delivered by ABX in Malaysia.

How much they charge for air delivery? How long on average they took from warehouse to your doorstep? Do they check what's inside your parcel?

I was trying to add Dex-i WeChat(18922364087) to my contact. Turn out Dex-i WeChat number is the same as Tao-post contact number. I guess they are related somehow.

Tao-post charges 24¥ (approx RM 15) for WM & 28¥(approx RM 18) for EM. with extra charges of ¥ (Approx rm 6.3) for Sensitive item (eg. Gel/paste Battery,limited to 2kg), for sensitive item, if you don't want them to deal with the problem by yourself, you would need to pay ¥20 for them to deal with it.i haven't tried that yet.

Tao-post and DEX-i are somewhat related, they even uses the same route, and can check Tao-post parcel on DEX-i website, i primarily uses Tao-post for normal stuff, they are generally cheaper and less picky about stuff can sent to EM. As for more sensitive item like battery i uses ECTbuy it's more pricey but reliable.

it takes about the same time as DEX-i to reach your door step , and fair share of warning if you lived in EM, be sure to ask them before you shipped sensitive item to EM, especially mobile phone, smartphone, tablet & PC, East Malaysia Custom is so strict sometime it barred those item from entering EM.

okay my item arrived today, heres review about the whole ordeal & shipping but not the item.

first time wanna try buy direct from taobao, buy cheap 1:1 branded hoodie. use Lazada Sea Shipping.

Pay MYR 42.22 for item
Pay MYR 5.78 for shipping

seller use zhotong can track without problem. later arrived at the warehouse cannot track anymore other than taobao dedicated tracking page. i know sea shipping cant be track but once it arrived tracking should be available right?.

they give me waybill number with "MY" code followed by 11 numbers but i dont know where to use it. lel tracker give 0 result. 4px also same. all malaysian shipping tracking give error.

so i just wait and pray. since this is a try and error i already had my mind ready if my item is lost. tho that the last thing i expect because from tracking result in taobao page everything seems fine.
i didnt install taobao app since i cant use it at all, cant read chinese.

buying wise its really easy 9/10. but shipping is different maybe since im using sea shipping. they dont tell me where to use the tracking and if something wrong i dont know what to do. next im gonna try air shipping.

It depends, if all your items under direct shipping reached warehouse and recorded, then Taobao will send notification to warehouse to ship out your order. At this point, it depends on the warehouse if busy or not. Workers in warehouse once received the notification, they will pack all your items together and weight it. If everything is OK, then they will proceed to hand over your parcel to courier to ship out to Malaysia. If smooth, 4 days to 6 days to reach your door step.
