anyone bought robot vacuum cleaner from taobao/Tmall and shipped to Malaysia before?
i was told by the customer service that this item is not allowed to ship outside china due the Battery is prohibited item.
is that true? I managed to carry one back when i was visited China and didn't block by the custom.
i really keen to buy it in 11.11 sales...

can anyone help to advise.

product will be something like chair, sofa, table, lighting

for bulky items it's better to use ezbuy prime shipping to ship...less shipping charges

Sea or by Air

Sea - Need to pay 6% GST, and may take very long to reach me, will sea shipment kena tahan by custom for duty tax?

Air - No need pay GST, but i kinda worry about the duty tax, i will need to separate it to few parcel.

I think i may spend around 2k to 3k..for own use, mainly clothes, shoe, and children toys (i think will be totally 10kg)
so better to ship by sea or air?

My parcel was sent to Malaysia on friday (27 oct) night, then got no update until tuesday (31 oct) saying that "your shipment is partially uplifted". Up till now no new updates😰😰

But, do you know any forwarder service that dont use volumetric weight? Once shipped my item using ZTO, the actual weight was 3kg but I was charged 9.5kg because of the volumetric weight of my items😥

i bought my items in taobao using the direct shipping to malaysia. would like to check, they will automatically send my item to malaysia after reaching the warehouse right? or do i need to click on anything for them to send it to me? currently its in their warehouse and have been there for the past 2 days.

If you use direct shipping, once the item reached ware house, the warehouse will automatically pack your item and send to Malaysia.
Sometimes it takes long time for your item to ship out from warehouse to Malaysia, especially during event like 11.11.

For consolidated shipping, then you will have to pay for the shipping fee once your item reached warehouse, then only they will ship out your item to Malaysia.
