pls help me re-map my ECU notworthy.gif

i mau 300+ bhp, and if can, pls put in halfcut SST 6-speed transmission too tongue.gif

owh, the bracket was for the steering wheel clockwheel harness

it rubs on the wiring and can make the insulation broken and can cause short cirtcuit to the electric power steering / airbag module

Mine was different. While reversing and stopped, then the 'tak' sound came out. It's like somewhere at the back of the car.

Don't worry guys, i believe most of the CKD version having this kind of issue. Seems like most of the part assemble not neatly, and the 'tak' sound when stopping is coming from the rear break. And for sure, ASX sound proof ain't that good.

Read somewhere that it is because of the cooling down of the exhaust. Thus, the loud 'tik tak' noise after one shuts down the engine. Am having that issue too, but since nothing really serious, have not done anything about it.

What's the mileage for you guys like? I'm starting to feel that the mileage ain't that good. Pumped full over the weekend and will share my stats here.

Same here. Really uncomfortable which is rather flat and upright. Thank God I rarely give people a lift in the back seat. Anything suitable in the after-market parts area?

The Mitsubishi ASX has been refreshed in Malaysia,

That’s for the new ASX 2WD GL, which to be exact is priced at RM104,792 on-the-road without insurance.
It joins the ASX 2WD (RM112,571) and ASX 4WD (RM125,041),

now comes with daytime running lights in the fog lamp housing and a β€œshark fin” antenna. In addition new Sporty Blue exterior colour,

The range topping 4WD now comes with seven airbags (door, side, curtain, driver’s knee, previously three airbags) and two-tone 17-inch alloys.

Thanks for reply. As per car card, the TAHUN DIBUAT is 2015. So there's no way that the sales person fabricate the car registration card right?

So far the drive experience is excellence.. not much issue but very annoying sound came from side roof when on rough road. Told the technician but still can't solve it.
Thanks to Kenny after some adjustment on auto lock, lock sound etc...

Then after wait 2 hour something they told me my seat belt area panel cover is it I give other people open it why scratch ... I told them I never open n I said this is a screw driver try to open it but can't so make it like that, I so angry about Mitsubishi services. They still blame me is already like that... I told them open CCTV and see is it ur workman try at open it, they answer is that area CCTV can't see it... Fuck... I said impossible I need bare this kind of thing ... This is my 1st services why I need open the cover by myself or to other place.. My car is under warranty.. Then they said manager not around tomorrow morning can view the CCTV... If tomorrow they really not change new for me I sure complain until Mitsubishi HQ.... What a bad luck...

Hi ya all ASXians,

Just got my loan approved for ASX 4WD. Just wondering should I got for the new updates or just get the prior update 4WD?

Also do all ASXians here tint their moonroof? Should I do it?

Thanks.

Hi, you can read more here.

Current 4wd is cheaper than the previous version. Pano Roof is only for 4wd version. Compared to Alza, I think there are tons of difference?

Bro which branch did you get the 16k rebate?
So far they offer me 12k rebate only for the older ASX (2015) . Not the newly launched but the one before it with 3 airbags.
For the new 1 they offer only 6k rebate. Kinda confused which to take.

16000k easily get, jz tell them give or take it, they will give u definately, but if u take 16k rebate there is no free service,
if u take up 8k rebate there are 5 years free service

old version OTR price more expensive 132,xxxk after minus 16k still 117,xxx

i booked the new one with rebate of 8000 (1 year free labour) +plus freebies (card plate number), so end up old version vs new version just 3k differences

Came for 20K service today at 3S Jalan Ipoh.
Was quoted for RM180 for air cond service ( re-new gas and change compressor oil it seems). According to the centre need to do this every 20K. Is this standard frequency?

That's why i am wondering also
I requested the Mitsubishi Preventive Maintenance schedule from the centre and the air cond service was not included and only the cabin filter listed. I believe it shouldn't be as frequent as every 20K. As such, i requested the centre to postpone it to next service and only change the cabin filter . Meantime, i start around seeking for input from the club members.

So did any other forum member here serviced their air cond during 20K service?

if u compare to 1st gen CRV, then it's the same size

if you compared to 3rd or 4th gen CRV, it's about half the size only

16000k easily get, jz tell them give or take it, they will give u definately, but if u take 16k rebate there is no free service,
if u take up 8k rebate there are 5 years free service
old version OTR price more expensive 132,xxxk after minus 16k still  117,xxx

i booked the new one with rebate of 8500 (1 year free labour) +plus freebies (card plate number), so end up old version vs new version just 3k differences

How many dealers are there in Penang ? The high rebate is for the 2015 model and not the updated 2015 model.

Hello there guys. I been a silent reader of this thread. Planning to get an ASX but then just reading the replies and also looking at their website have made me confused.

1. What is the major diff between old model and new ?
2. What are the promotion available ?
3. Seriously confused abt the rebate part.

Im currently driving a 7 year Nissan Latio sedan and thinking of upgrading to ASX.

My only issue is space, Latio is a huge huge comfortable car, plus Nissan is well known for the NVH, im just wondering if i upgrade to ASX will it feel like an upgrade? Power wise surely because asx is 2.0.. im thinking comfort wise and noise level wise.

Really split and hard to make decision. Im getting 12k rebate from mitshu for the 4wd modal.

If heard correctly from the SA I enquired from is offering RM7K rebate, 5 years warranty part and labour. Rebate RM8K, 5 years parts warranty, labour free 2 years.

Rebates are for 2WD (not 2WDGL).

RM12K discount for pre face lift only left for 4WD.

Location KL.

Currently still shopping around for better deal.

The new front grille LED certainly raised its profile.
If only ASX come standard 2WD with cruise control, safety full spec.

Test driven most of the japanese suv's in the market.

Handling i'd prefer subaru forester.
Ride comfort, well crv is quite well sorted. 2.0 is good, 2.4 is really something else.

Safety kit, the top end of most models are very well equipped.

Asx facelifted is somewhere in between though the engine drone is still there albeit a bit muffled.

Nevertheless, asx is still the best value for money especially the latest with 7 airbags, not forgetting the panoramic sunroof.

Well i did have a go at cx-5 but truthfully there was no real zoom zoom to speak of. Ended up feeling rather claustrophobic. But thats just me.

Xv? Never had the opportunity as the test car was never available.

Then again, space is the dealbreaker for those two above. Should you go for a test drive, try to have a full load in order to have a better feel of what the vehicle is capable of.

Outlook: XV, I like the back of it alot, while ASX looks dated as we know.
Performance : Probably Boxer engine
Ride and Handling: XV, again hands down
Comfort: ASX. I would try the rear seat enhanced version if the price and rebate is good
Noise level : ASX. My wife complaint for XV for its windsound and tyre noise
Panaromic Roof : Bonus for ASX. Really nice feeling. How practical is it for you guys normally. Do you guys open it most of time?
Fuel Consumption : ASX but not by far i think. Someone enlighten me on XV FC as the SA told me RM0.21/km but I saw 0.17-0.18/km claimed online feedbacks
Also worth mention is that I think XV has better safety as it possess real good solid chassis.

I'm in confusion. One gives more towards performance and driving experience while the another is more suitable for a family car imo.

Well, hopefully the price and upcoming rebate will help me settle down.

I tested both XV and ASX last week also. Here are my brief opinion:

XV (Sport ver)
- Responsive acceleration and quiet engine + gearbox
- Balance steering feel (not too heavy or light)
- Firm suspension, but still acceptable for daily drive
- Plain dashboard layout, nothing fancy
- Intrusive tyre noise above 80kph+

ASX (4WD)
- Noisy acceleration and not so responsive (don't know from engine or gearbox, just noisy ok)
- Light steering (lady driver might like it)
- Like the moon roof
- Comfy suspension

You should try the new Nissan X-Trail if you feel CRV is comfy. You might have different opinion later in terms of sound proof, suspension and smooth+responsive acceleration.

Yeah, the same opinion for the acceleration and suspension.
Both models are going to redesign probably 2016 which would arrive M'sia maybe nearer 2017

So which model are you going for?

I believe XV does have usable 4wd & good ground clearance. What niggles me is there was less space at the back to sit 3 across.

Anything with only 2 airbags should be taken out of the equation.

Just watched on youtube, everyman's review on Asx, renamed Outlander sport in the US. Surprised about its 4wd which is quite usable.

Perhaps better to wait for future models given the current economic climate.

I should think that if the discount is good, that should more or less offset the resale value.

Furthermore year-end lots of extra goodies thrown in.

Now I am dilemma to choose ASX Enhance or Mazda 3 Sedan High Spec.... M3 really best in spec but legroom like not as good as ASX.

How you guys get 8k as Penang SA only give 4-5k discount ?

Initially heard the earlier model did encountered rubber/oil smell from aircon when hit 120-140km/h, how about this new enhanced model? Any 1 can provide feedback?

Thx

Most of the SA I went to, their test car is still the 2015 before face lift version. They said face lift version test car not available yet.

Didn't pay much attention to the cabin noise.

Test drive the FL 2015, also blue. Sound a bit muted than the previous generation. But given the price range, boot space & airbags, i have not much to complain.

Will try to take the XV for a spin.

If not mistaken after pair and connect bluetooth...car audio can play mp3 from phone when you select the A2DP function on the screen (refer picture). I normally use this function when play video on the tab for my daughter.

Thank you for the reply guys.
I may be in the market for SUV for my wife as I could return to Malaysia for work.
I realized that most SUV in the similar price range as ASX are not equipped with rear AC vents.
My priority would be safety (airbags & all handlings technology) & comfort (rear AC)

Keen on purchasing the enhanced 2015 model.

Can this car cruise comfortably at 170km/h to 180km/h?

May I know, if you drive at that speed, what is the engine speed?

I guess the engine must be screaming at 6,000r.p.m. when doing that speed right?

How fast is the vehicle when driving at 4,000r.p.m.?

Was told by SA the ASX is a SKD and not CKD. Assembled by Tan Chong in Segambut. However another SA says it is a CKD assembled in Pekan. I am certain it is assembled in Tan Chong Assembler Segambut as I saw two transporters with ASX parked outside Tan Chong in Jln Segambut.

Did anyone compare Sportage 2WD and HR-V with ASX 2WD as the price difference between them are not far away?

From the test drive, I can feel that this ASX has a better drivability than those two as it is smooth dilivery in terms of power and braking, handling and ride also not bad.
BTW, I wonder why ASC/ESC are only exclusive on 4WD as other rival already come standard.

I did compared the three. First to drop was H-RV, almost same price but 1.8L, very cramp and smallest among the three.

Between Sportage and ASX, to me their performance are equally good. The interior of Sportage looks bigger but I ended up booking an ASX.

Why ASX?. Because Mitsubishi had produced many award winning models in the pass, to name a few - Pajero, Colt Galant, Lancer, Tredia etc. And not forgetting the famous Mitsubishi Zero fighter planes in the second world war. And lastly the resale value should be better than Naza/Kia (provided they don't sell the model to Proton).

I have test driven those HRV n sportage but all high spec 1 ... HRV altho i like the front interior but inside like a but smaller and the seat are not comfortable .. FB asx is way better .. ( i really like the ASX front grille) ..Hvr comes with eletric brake and the hold 1 .. and all touch screen even ac too.. not bad compare to asx abit like old school ..

Sportage i like but some many reason i have to give up this choice .. 1st is SC or after sales service.. becoz mitsubhisi really good in after sales service from my exp.

just my opinions.

So far there is not much comment on the audio system except that it's android 2.3. Some apps can't be installed. Unlike the pre-FL, which is a Kenwood system (I think), no brand name was stated on the HU. I forgotten to try out the audio quality when doing the test drive last week.

Using Mr Google, I could not find any model that is similar to the one installed in the new FL ASX. The closes was Alpine but buttons was on the left and using android 4. Any idea what brand is the HU.

for the first batch of CKD, it's the FLY AUDIO (some china OEM brand)

user posted image

the newer FL 2016 version is using MMCS

supposedly MMCS has many option that can control some of the the car ETACS - eg. auto headlight and etc

CBU units has that lousy kenwood audio

if anyone has any MMCS and decide to ditch it, let me know. i will interested to get my hands on it

When I wanted to buy my own insurance, the SA advise me not to as he says their insurer allianz with cover a one to one swap for the first year if there are major defect in the car. How true I don't know until I see the policy.

Loud noise from the gear box may cause you dearly in term of your time going in and out of SC. You should ask for a replacement since it is less that a month.

My silver 2WD coming next week.

At first ordered the blue colour but quickly called the SA to change it to silver after seeing so many blue Innova taxis in KLIA. No offense to those driving blue ASX.

*
they will NOT swap 1 to 1 as the car already registered under your name and also your bank loan(bank collected the registered card and bank loan have release to them), there is no 1 to 1 swap car insurance in Malaysia. maybe your SA con you.

The reason behind why they dont allow you buy your own is they wan make little profit from the insurance

the blue color totally different than innova taxi la.. it looks nicer but the problem it will be hard to take care, light scratch can be easily spoted.

I know they will discourage me from buying my own insurance. Is possible if they insure it, but I doubt it also. First year it is easier for them to buy the insurance to avoid any hassle.

But if your ride is giving you too much headache there is legal avenue to get it replaced. I have read about one girl managed to get her car replaced with a new one through legal avenue. She won the case, got a new car and the legal cost paid for. Most probably she knows what to do as she works in a legal firm.

Have you guys encountered or solved the rubber/oil smell at higher speed/ sudden acceleration?

Going to test the 2WD tomorrow. At close price, I'm confused whether to get ASX 2WD or Lancer GTE (CBU)

the ASX cmes with immobiliser, without the electronic key, you can't start the car engine

why go through all that hassle? at least a steering lock can be used as a self defense weapon, but this?

it has some electronic override and won;t let you rev past certain RPM

it's good for overtaking though.

Toyota cannot ad la~ Now even throw its selling price with rebates. Their RV also suffer from that.

The important thing is, I have certain doubts about ASX ( rubber/oil smell, noise, and weak pickup)
Whereas for Lancer, probably the dated outlook is the only concern
One is CBU another is CKD I afraid that would bring qc difference after purchase, too.

Apart from this, I would like to know does the lack of traction control and lateral turn control affect the driving experience between 2wd and 4wd.

For ASX, I like to take the blue color.

Correction. Traction control don't make the car stable and easy to control. Traction Control only kicks in when u lost traction. Mitsubishi call it Asc @ active stability control. When it is doing its wonder u will see the asc icon flashing on the meter. Otherwise it is just monitoring doing nothing.

In simple term traction control prevents wheel spin. Useful on the wet or non-tarred road.

Traction control nothing to shout about.. It's the stability control which is more important.

One little advice.. Dun believe SA too much.. They are just salesman.

Asc works in 2wd or 4wd.. However the local ckd 2wd is not hardware equip.

Pump I can easily find.. Including the g sensor..
The harder part to find is the steering angle sensor.. Most Japanese used parts treat it part of srs system.. >.<"

For the AWD, is it centre differential with a Viscous Limited Slip Differential or Active Torque Split type?

No he is not. The pictures above juz show the overall available stuff for asx.. Malaysian one not full spec yet. Trust me.. I mess around my car inside out.. Even lancer.. Asx.. All come find me..

I have implemented asc for many lancers and inspira.. It's a same system with different configuration for asx. All 2 2wd.

The list of items for asc to work..
1. Steering angle sensor
2. G sensor
3. Asc pump.

For a 2wd system it has a different part number compare to a 4wd version. When the 4wd engage.. The logic works differently.

The picture u show is all the drive train inside asx

The list of ecu available in the car..
1. Engine ecu
2. Etacs
3. Aircon climate control
4. Abs (local ckd 2wd version)
5. Asc (local 4wd version and 2wd CBU)
6. Speedo meter (yes it is an ecu)
7. Sun roof (yes it talks thru the Lin bus)
8. Power window (driver only.. Older version support all 4)
9. Wcm (non kos version)
10. Kos (kos version)
11. Oss (kos version)

No. U don't need the 4wd system to run asc.. U need a different asc model for the 2wd..

Put it this way.. When 4wd not engaged it is running 2wd.

Oss stand for one button start stop ecu.. This ecu check it ur car is started or not so it know to kick the starter or kill the engine when u press the button.

Kos is the one responsible to look for the keyless and authenticate with it before u open the door or start the engine.

Wcm..wireless control module.. For non keylessone.. When u press the remote.. It authenticate if ur key is valid. Also to allow u to start the engine. Normal key

The AWD model is around 100kg heavier than the 2WD models, with driving dynamic and fuel consumption in consideration , I'm not sure if this is justifiable over the 2WD. What I can see is that the AWD model MIGHT have better vehicle dynamic in wet surface or wet weather one the 2WD with higher fuel consumption.

Fc shouldn't different by that much. Unless u r those rm0.20 also kira type.. Trust me, u won't be engaging the 4wd.. Once in a blue moon..

I would rather see it this way.. I want the asc and kos.. Thats why I choose the 4wd.. Not because of the 4wd system instead.

Well, I don't think I would be too calculative on the petrol but if the fuel efficiency is good, then it's a bonus. For me, I would put it to either "Auto" or "Lock", that's the reason of buying AWD model. I believe the AWD can contribute to a better performance if you're rallying in the oil palm estate tongue.gif despite not a very advanced AWD system.

Besides the centre, do you know anything about the front and rear differential? At that price, I don't expect AYC like performance but at lease not those conventional outdated types.

I believe we all understand the 4WD on the Landcruiser and the AWD on the Mitsubishi's Super AWC are different, don't we? I don't feel like engaging the 4WD on the typical pickup truck to thrash corner, that would be sweat.gif biggrin.gif

This is the available ECU's within your ASX ... (Malaysia so call full spec is not totally full spec yet)..

I will explain one by one ..

1. ABS-ECU / ASC-ECU --> for ASC it comes with ABS function. Malaysia earlier CBU 2wd comes with ASC, while the later version CKD 2wd only ABS while 4wd is with ASC

2. Steering Wheel Sensor --> this sensor ecu send signal into the network telling the car steering pointing to where... these information will be use by ASC to do calculation on the action to be taken when u lost control.. it is not applicable for ABS version. In lancer/outlander, it is use for AFS as well .. adaptive front lighting system .. ASX does not have AFS on all variant because the HID version headlight is one of the best , wides that you do not need AFS.

3. EPS --> Electric power steering

4. 4WD-ECU -> engage the electronic coupling at the rear . only for 4wd CKD version (Malaysia)

5. Corner sensor / (Reverse sensor) - NOT AVAILABLE in ALL MALAYSIA Model.. refer to the video i post just now. This is original from mitsu. The one install in malaysia model, both front and rear are 3rd party made in china sensors. It is idependent from the car system.

6. Engine ECU - Control the engine.

7. AS&G - Auto Start and Go , not available in malaysia market, it basically kill the engine when u stop at traffic light. Wanted to mod, but no point as the heat will kill me tongue.gif

8. Headlamp automatic leveling ECU - not available for local halogen version as the halogen version use manual leveling tat you can control within the car. With auto leveling, there are gyro sensor (front n rear older version, newer just rear), it will adjust the headlight height automatically

9. CVT-ECU - for CVT version

10. SRS-ECU - Control the airbags.

11. Heater control panel or A/C - YES.. this bugger is an ECU as well. Older version can install a light sensor for A/C , the auto will work much better, during hot sun, the Air will blast stronger.

12. WCM / KOS - As explain in previous post

13. OSS - As explained as well.

14. Combination meter - yes .. it is a ecu, it picks up the signal from the network and display the RPM , calculate the average fuel consumption..etc

dude, technical service manual can be easily found online.. the problem is Do people understand it.
my car i mess around all the time. i love them .. from tiny bits of mods all the way to big one likes 7 airbags ... tongue.gif .. yes .. my junk local inspira comes with full 7 airbags .. Inb4 all those expert comes shooting .. will the airbag activate when the time comess.... answer is .. YES. nowadays all the system are intelingence enough to do self check evertime u start up the car.. that is why when u have some little problem, your meter will show all the fault code already.. same goes to when you install something that is not suppose to be in your car variant, there will be an error (somehow i know how to reprogram the ETACS to get all those additional stuff working whistling.gif , which inclusive of AUTO LOCK) ..

and yes, asx comes with autolock . it just being disabled... and the autolock feature is very smart one.. if accident happen .. badly .. airbag exploded, the etacs will unlock all the doors.

5. Corner sensor / (Reverse sensor) - NOT AVAILABLE in ALL MALAYSIA Model.. refer to the video i post just now. This is original from mitsu. The one install in malaysia model, both front and rear are 3rd party made in china sensors. It is idependent from the car system.

*
can you confirm that CBU is also using 3rd party sensors?

if you can somehow make the CLOCK appear on the middle console, it'd be super awesome

ASX has no clock sad.gif

CBU I not sure
Maybe ori but older version without display..

Clock is not available on the meter.. Too bad..

Ckd I confirm 3Rd party.. I buka my dad one tongue.gif
But even lancer CBU use 3Rd party.. So it is possible 3Rd party for CBU. Why.. Bcoz the ori one freaking expensive..
Just the sensor alone.. One piece is 60-80 Usd.. Halfcut sell rm100-150 each.. Pengsan..

Clock has always been together at the headunit.. Reason no clock is becoz it's 3Rd party headunit..

it'd be cheaper to buy a Note5 and plug it into your HU than buy an android HU with kitkat 4.4

Good day to all owners/sifus,

I had been surveying and surveying for the past 6 months and comparing ASX, CX5, XV and HRV

My thoughts(test drove all units):-

1. HRV > out of the list due to torsion beam (handling so so )

2. CX5 2WD > spacious, handling good, performance ok...downside many necessary accessories removed(reverse sensor, front sensor)....also seems got rebate RM4k

3. XV > superb handling(took sharp corner at about 90kmh, can hear the back tyre screeching yet the car moved on without drama)....downside lack of accessories, concern as Boxer engine maintenance.....now price RM114k without GST

4. ASX > test drove before FL model...its comfortable, nice to drive....downside noisy, backseat too straight
ASX FL > backseat good, sound system improved (on the VAPS feature), the new HU might be Clarion bcoz noticed Clarion using VAPS term and design look similar

My query for FL owners,

1. How is the new CVT feel?
2. NVH improved?
3. Steering EPS or hydraulic?

General query,

4. Fuel consumption figures

Tq 4 ur kind sharing...

I test drove the 4WD FL version that day (too bad as they didn't had the 2WD unit).

Overall I am happy with the performance. However, I got a few questions:

1) May I know what is the exact issue with the pre-FL unit in regards to rear seat? Is it because of the small rear legroom or non-reclining seats or perhaps both? In the FL version, I am not sure but the rear legroom still looks a bit small to me.

2) In the FL version, can we play movie files directly from thumb drives? (e.g. .avi, .mp4, .mpeg etc.).

3) As an ASX owner, what are the reactions/comments that you get from others when they see your ride? biggrin.gif (as I understand that ASX is kind of rare)

Cheers.

1) the pre-FL versions had less recline degree rear seats so you would feel sitting straight that affect the overall comfort. The car interior space remain the same. If you're comparing between pre-FL and FL then I'd say this improvement is significant and worth to just get the FL version.

2) -na-

3) I'm alot concern about the rubber/oil smelling problem, the degree of experience may vary, but this quite setback from me buying ASX anyhow.

JF011E - similar with x-trail, but uses different TCU parameters

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jatco_transmissions

sad to say, the x-trail has better CVT response at lower speed (less rubber band effect). but mitsu TCU has better high end pickup (range 100km/h - 180km/h)

It is Clarion AX1 OEM. The unit setup is the same with ASX unit.

No remote control.

When fiddling with the unit I came across a statement that says "Clarion AX1 for Nissan Almera".

FM convertor .. step up the FM .. but range is 14MHz only. Good enough for me..
Japan is 76MHz to 90Mhz ..

I step up by 14 MHz .. so

76 + 14 = 90 MHz
90 + 14 = 104 MHz

dude, technical service manual can be easily found online.. the problem is Do people understand it.
my car i mess around all the time. i love them .. from tiny bits of mods all the way to big one likes 7 airbags ... tongue.gif .. yes .. my junk local inspira comes with full 7 airbags ..

Just my 2 cents advise, think twice before purchase your car from TOS Klang, as they are poor after sales service. Many ppl have encountered the issue like me, poor qc, some even worst, NCD refund have to do on their own, TOS Klang does nto bother at all, as they minded only to hit their sales target.

I learnt my lesson, dont buy the car with high rebates as end up u will regret with poor after sales service,

Anyone knows how to jail break the OEM Clarion that came with the FL ASX to install Waze. The IGO navigation is very very CACAT. Very MALU to show off the ASX navigation system. The whole system is let down by the IGO navigation. Papago SGMY is 100 times much better.

Most of the "clicking" sounds after the engine has been switched off are from parts of the exhaust system cooling down, this includes heat shields around certain exhaust parts which ae very thin and expand and contract quite rapidly causing "ticking" noises.

Sending it over this morning and they told me there's no issue. After I show them how it looks like after engine off then they acknowledge the problem. Anyway thanks for the info bro, i told them to update the firmware. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

For 4B10, 4B11, 4B12 (excluding 4B11t)
The gearbox pair to it are...
F5mbb. Yes.. All engine same gearbox.. Difference just the ratio..

Example
Lancer 1.8 / asx 2.0 manual. Use.. F5MBB-1-bby

If want to swap to manual, I am more worry on the driveshaft availability, instead of gearbox.. manual and cvt gearbox have diff drive shaft

Most of the "clicking" sounds after the engine has been switched off are from parts of the exhaust system cooling down, this includes heat shields around certain exhaust parts which ae very thin and expand and contract quite rapidly causing "ticking" noises.
