How can the world most used navigation system be illegal. The original Clarion AX1 has Waze installed. Are they collaborating with iGO so that we have to pay for the maps update in future. Third parties infotainment can install Waze.

Can every owners of ASX with the Clarion OEM please bombard MMM how back dated they are and request for Waze to be included in the Infogo App Garage.

Really stupid remark "it is illegal to install Waze".

btw . my car is 40 days old with 1.6km mileage .. lately when I am using paddle shifter to manual driving .. whenever after revving ..there was a smell.. I don't know what is that smell.... any idea.  burnt smell I guess?..

Scroll to the bottom part and navigate to update firmware tab.

Go to “Settings”
Select “System” >> “Software Management”
Select “Factory Data Reset”
After clearing user data update Power Manager, follow these steps:

Insert “microSD card” or plug in “USB” which contains “update.zip” (Power Firmware) file
Go to “Settings”
Select “System” > “Software Management”
Under “Firmware” > Select “Update”
There will be pop up messages.
Accept them
This update will take 10 minutes and will restart the device. Do you want to proceed now?”
**Remarks: Please do not shut down the unit during updating process

To check Firmware and Power Firmware version:

Go to “Settings”
Select “About”
Check on “Build Number” and “Power Firmware” – it should be shown as Firmware v888 and Power Firmware vx.x.

This update improves:
- audio performance of the head unit
- stability in Bluetooth pairing, device display & handsfree calling mode
- performance and behaviour in Bluetooth audio streaming mode
- WIFI stability
- reverse camera and fixes several known bugs
- music player; can handle bigger song libraries better and playback functions will work correctly
- video playback; now resumes correctly and several bugs were corrected
- radio mode’s UI and general performance issues
- over UI of the unit (GPS lock signal, status bar and volume indicators)

Mine can drive with the reverse camera on and all buttons not function-able. Up teen times it frozed at the loading screen. Worst of all Service Center unable to give me the service centre for the Infotainment. They only gave me the number to call but no one seems to be answering the call, sms or whatsapp.

2.0GL is the entry level spec without the infotainment. If got steering Audio control is more than sufficient for me, I plan to upgrade the audio anyway

Only thing I was told is that the 2015 ASX has better rear seats (more inclined). Need to check it out
