I can't seem to find the reference. BUt recall reading, the merchant fees will be standardized between charge cards (AMEX) and other credit cards.

Likelihood that's the reason AMEX dropping the extra TP.

Strangely, AMEX merchant fee has been adjusted to 1.0% from July 2015 . That's the reason we lost the weekend CB. And now the business is bad. So our TP got deducted as well! cry.gif

If MBB drop 5X treatpoints to bring back 5% cash back, then it is good to keep.

a lot of ppl already canceled MBB 2 cards since they announced no more 5% cash back, mostly switched to Citibank Cash Rebate / UOB One.

if 5x TP no more, not so surprise

Did MBB changed their Marketing guy? They spent so much money acquiring cardmembers n now not interested to retain them?

I had terminated M2C 2 weeks ago at card center The Garden, they didn't asked the reason of canceling the card. And didn't receive any call from Bank as well tongue.gif

You are so right! I switched to Citibank CR and Maybank VS.
These MBB 2 cards are basically useless for my spending trends now.

Yes. We can use Transfer Fund feature in M2U to pay credit cards of other bank by using GIRO or IBFT. GIRO is RM 0.11. IBFT is RM 0.53.

Looking other countries like Singapore or US, the benefits either got retain or improved but us going down the drain faster than water.
