QUOTE(betamon @ Jan 6 2016, 01:49 PM) Hi, Just want to confirm is there any promotion 5% rebate for Maybank 2 card?because my brother swipe on weekend on dining and hotel but he get the the total of 5% rebate from this two transaction. Thanks? The credit card machine used is registered as dining. Most likely occur at a hotel with restaurant in it. Nowadays, the weekend cashback is restricted to dining only. This post has been edited by Wongchoy: Jan 6 2016, 02:19 PM |

Now we know it. Hotel transactions on weekends got chance CB. Perhaps it's because of a MCC5812 laden terminal at the front office?

Heard from the wind about Maybankard. After abolish Priority Pass and PPL lounge visit, they are still not done yet! Looks like they might want to abolish auto AF waiver as well !

QUOTE(dreamthief @ Mar 11 2016, 03:50 PM) I can't seem to find the reference. BUt recall reading, the merchant fees will be standardized between charge cards (AMEX) and other credit cards. Strangely, AMEX merchant fee has been adjusted to 1.0% from July 2015 . That's the reason we lost the weekend CB. And now the business is bad. So our TP got deducted as well! Likelihood that's the reason AMEX dropping the extra TP. |
