RM0.00 Citi: Congrats! You qualify for a 20'' Condotti luggage bag which will be redeemed with 36200 Reward Points credited to your card. Pls expect it in 5 weeks.

Does this mean I won't get the bag?

Hi,

Anybody try to waive citibank clear card annual fee? I've tried to contact call center but they didn't waive for me instead of using points. For past few year, they just waived for me.

Guys, please do not waste your time on AF waiver related issues. I have been posted many times in this thread. Citibank is one of the bank which will
Not waive your AF. They will say wait the AF being charge first and request again (it is a trap as once you spend on the card after AF being charge, you are oblige to pay!). Or some cases they will say put in balance transfer then we can waive for you etc. basically there are lots of terms in order for you to waive the AF. My conclusion is the AF is very very very difficult to waive. Please cancel your card early if you are those who not keen to pay AF.
My spending on the platinum card ( to redeems points) up to around 50k per year but they ask me to waive with points last year. There are so many good cards outside, please don't waste your precious time! My sincere advise.

Anyone knows if there is any penalty for full/early settlement of 0% installment (aka Citibank Easy Pay?

I know for the FlexiPayment (where we convert transactions to installment with interest) there will be a penalty but what about those 0% installment directly from merchants?

Unsure with the charges. If I could recall correctly, there's an option to select to activate the Citibank Ready Credit, would suggest you to call CS for immediate and accurate information thumbup.gif

How about the daily interest incurred on the outstanding amount? Should be 18% p.a? Or not also roughly 6% p.a right?

Regarding the CT AF, i have been using CT CB Platinum for 5 years and yes they will charge me the AF every year BUT I can get it waived by calling the CS and requested for it to be waived. I believe there are some T&C on it which how much you use the card might be a factor but never failed to get it waived, yet.

However I am testing my Maybank2Card Amex (Visa still on my CT CB) and see how much CB i can earned compared with CT CB. (damn they just de-valuate the Treats Point as of Aug 2015). Previously its 12,500TP for RM50 CB. now its 20,000TP for same RM50. A 60% de-valuation!

Just get Citibank Choice, the only Citibank card without annual, no conditions attached. I only use my Citibank card for discounts at shops and restaurants. Have not used it for 6 month or so. Haha, but nothing to worry as well. biggrin.gif
