I have used Synthium 800 for my Preve Turbo all the time. I used the Synthium 1000 only once as a service adviser mentioned that the Preve Turbo cannot use the Synthium 800 but 1000 and above. After I have found out that the service adviser has cheated me, I demanded for a refund and got my reimbursement back. The refund is not on the engine oil but other unnecessary charges and services which amount to about RM150. It took Proton about 3 to 4 months to process the reimbursement until the money was banked into my account. That particular service adviser who caused the trouble was no longer working in the service centre anymore. Think he was fired or transferred to somewhere else.
FWIW I have not tried Synthium 3000 but the Preve Turbo drives better with the 800 than the 1000. The car's acceleration feels heavier with Syntium 1000. With the Synthium 800, the car feels lighter and accelerates better.
