KL cbd, outside cbd like Bangsar Damansara and etc......or PJU and alike.

I don't include Taiping, gua musang, kuala trengganu cherating batu pahat and the rest of Malaysia like Icey cheh…..

I do agree that nationwide average is too big of a scope, but the counterargument would be that majority of listings in Airbnb are already from KL. Anyway no data to substantiate this claim so I will keep quiet first hehe.

Btw car theft rates have been reducing over the past few years according to PIAM i.e. the General Insurance association.

If Airbnb in KL average occupancy is double of national average is only 124 days a year, hardly a break even number.

Data and statistics may not accurate to last digit but is anytime closer to reality than syok sendiri assumption.

you think wor........
you tell  me la  lol

i mention is a safety risk visitor can go in, you said the person "forced himself into resi car park wor". how i know if got resident let him follow into the building ah? who can guarantee once entered carpark he will  not follow resident into the building?
*
have you ever stay in condo or service apartments before????? such a naïve comment.

if someone really want, he can follow you directly behind enter the lobby, enter the carpark and follow you all the way to your resi floor. he doesn't even need to break into your resi carpark, especially service apartments with mall or train or both.

the safer one is resi condo. Safer not 100% safe. Remember Palm Spring case????? the robbers just wait outside the condo, wait for male owner to come out to take his parked car outside of condo premises, rob him and took him with his key to go up to his unit, sapu licin licin his apartment, and it doesn't help when he has a girlfriend in the apartment, gang raped her as well in front of her BF.

do you know penang has many Airbnb apartments too? same with JB?

according to one youtuber, in penang, its lucky if you can rent out 7 days in a month, average just 3 days. of course this is just his observation.

but some clever text copied expert here using national average data to for quote and beat the rest of Airbnb with a broomstick. such a lazy but clever idea.
I am sure she will follow her statement to quote saying the cost of average hotel room is WAY cheaper than Airbnb and the rental rate is way better.

dun get me wrong. I am not in Airbnb biz and how Airbnb performed is not my concern, but if you want to forward your counter argument, I would prefer some solid backing and not just copied text and make your case.

sour grapes forever will be sour grapes.

I personally know another nearby service apartments, kena broke in many times already....in fact too many times to count.

just last week, another attempted break in, luckily owners were at home that times. these news will never featured in lyn.

you think you are smart to avoid this and that, but the thieves are two steps ahead of you.

stolen cars, perhaps you need to report to police to get insurance compensation. but robbery and home break in? how many % make the effort to report or sai lang their stories in FB?

This occupancy is consistent with national average of 62 days a year. If tourists destination like Penang has this occupancy rate, how will ekocheras fare?

not the stolen car issue i’m concerned, happens everywhere. The don’t give a f**k attitude by the management and the owner of this mall is more of a problem.

- cutting corners
- more interested renting every available space of the retail than managing.

Owners like, so what? I don’t give a damn. I still have Bandar Malaysia. Now we can fool those foreigners instead of Malaysian.

I dunno. Do you?

How many listings there are in Penang and JB (and other states) relative to KL? Is it:

A) 1:1?
B) 2:1?
C) 10:1?

If we assume the answer is A and the extreme assumption is that Non-KL has 0% occupancy rate, then the maximum possible KL occupancy rate is 34%.

If the answer is B, then it's 51%.

Of course this is all assuming that the 17% nationwide average is accurate.

Like I keep saying, I actually dunno so I'm not making any conclusions. I'm just a stats lover. If vehicle stats then I ok lah. tongue.gif
