looks like the owners in EKC are getting some handsome LAD fees

I guess usually all this bigger shops has longer lease terms, even the mall is not performing well they have no choice to continue to operate

Seriously the mall is open? The building is like so not safe to visit from the outside ..

Seriously i really wonder if that is a so call "concept" or "design" or they are just trying to cover up their un-finish work with some play of words.

Well to be honest, I don't think it will be as bad as phoenix , if EkoVest can really screw this mall up at such location, I'm really speechless, was so looking forward to it till they pull out this "design" stunt. On the other hand they are getting a lot of free publicity, now every aunty uncle in the neighbor hood is talking about the mall.

Is probably their new design, waterfall in the mall concept.

Went yesterday night, and the car park is flooded with water

the moment they pull out the mall with this kind of "concept" and "design" you will be like "why am i not surprise" anymore

I can't differentiate between it being design / concept or is poor workmanship, maybe just call it poor workmanship design concept ..

I remember EKC also got a waterfall feature like this months back, still got a not during the last downpour?

Aiyo like that also mau gaduh, i personally think EKC is not a fail mall. Was just hoping they put more effort in the workmanship. Other than that it is in the right place and location with a good neighbourhood to support. Quite a nice place to do shopping, very spacious

Perhaps some of you have read this, sharing this here for those who wants to understand the concept behind the design.

"As raw as sushi"
"Leftover construction materials"
"Minimal plastering"
"Bare finishes"

I guess the approach is very drastic as people who put their money in to a development expect to be able to quantify their investment but when the developer go with a sustainability concept with the keywords use above, is as though they are sending a message they they are using a heavy cost cutting measure

My only issue with their approach is they took the bare concept literally to the point that all the wires dangling, walls and pillars with rough cement patches, nails sticking out. I hope it is just unfinished work and they will put in effort to smooth this out

Btw, my comment is not base on propcafe pictures. It was on the mall that has been open for months..

Might as well you call developer straight rather than asking here.

Not sure what justification is needed from that dude, but looking at those pictures he shared, maybe should seek the justification from the developer instead and not from some random fella in lyn.

If the owners/forum readers have issues with the way someone is posting maybe take the conversation private and engage the admin / mod to look into it. Same thing i told mr.bean instead of keep reacting and triggered and posting all sort of eye sore personal attacks do it using the right channel.

No one is talking about whether a property is perfect or imperfect. I just find it eye sore when you are getting triggered over and over again over the pictures. Since you are the rightful owner of the property, maybe you should share more substance to justify those pictures instead of harping on people stealing the pictures and resorting of all sort of name calling, If your problem is that dude stealing pictures, please go report to the moderator and ask them to remove it.

Btw stick with the context please, stop hitting all over the place.
