Interested to buy a unit here. May I know is it still available? Although ekocheras Mall workmanship not so good but the place still turns out to be pretty hot. I have been there a few times, lots of restaurants can choose from

Went there this morning. Got crowd, despite the issues. Wondering why ppl still go, because of the location or lack of options in Cheras. Could be a good sign

It's due to the cheap parking.

RM 1.00/entry (Monday - Thursday)
RM 2.00/entry (Friday/Public Holiday/Public Holiday Eve)

I wouldn't be surprised if many folks will use this mall's parking as their Park'n Ride and take the MRT to work/leisure.

Wonder if the rates are revised to be on par with the average KV mall, will this mall be able to sustain the crowd? hmm.gif

Once understood the demographic and history of this area, it will not be surprised to see the foot fall. Again, this area l mean.

Back in the early 90s, when both Laisui mal(LM) and Fenix plaza started, only the former survived. Thruout the years, even thought there were larger malls like Meat valley, Pak villian etc rise up, the LM still survived. Some people may call it a magic. Some may see this a miracle. You can say it's just a neighborhood mall. But mainly, it is due to the support by the local Ceras residents/families. If you stay more than a decade in this area, you will observe this trend.

Now EKC is to extend the "overall mall size" of this area, complementing while competing with LM. Some may say to draw the qi/business from from LM and serve the local residents. Of course, the location, parkings MRT are also contributing factors. But main factor it is again the support by the locals.

Each mall need to serve its own market... No point to compete with big four especially neighbourhood malls.

Bangsar Village, BSC are still surviving.

I noticed for EKC mall the f&b selection is quite unique particularly Chinese cuisine. I believe EKC mall management got it right there and not go for typical franchise f&b.

Only time will tell whether it is "new toilet effect" or the mall will be sustainable.

Its not the workmanship is not good....its just their raw and bare style are not yr taste.....

Pls distinguish btw style and workmanshjp.

Of all the so called 'malls' that opened in the past 1 to 2 yrs in klang valley, tis ekc considered riding in top already. Doesnt matter why carpark is full...at least there are footfall, restaurants are opening. Bear in mind tis is before their two main anchors, supermarket chain and cinema are opened.

Tell tis to evolve mall, glo damansara n others they will be envy w bloody red eyes.

The problem is many visitors compare footfall with big 5 (MV, oneU, Pyramid, pavilion and klcc).

Managed to contact some agents. It seems developer unit still available. 765sqft duplex but not nice view around 590k b4 7% rebate. Is it a good deal??

It depends if you want low n easy entry option by developer.

Otherwise look for at subsales.
