OT unless is a fixed amount, it will not be included as part of income. That goes to allowance as well, only fixed amount will be counted.
For YOLO, 36k per annum will be needed.

Yeap that's what I thought also, that's why never include in the annual income. What other credit cards is next best option?

Those allowances are pretty consistent la. Every month similar allowance credit into bank account consistently.

However, some banks started not to include fixed allowances anymore. smile.gif

Can try with CIMB Cash Rebate.

Some banks don't take converted income amount, they might just treat it as 1:1.
You will need to check with banks.

For RM 90k, you can try AmBank Visa Signature for miles points and PPL access, CIMB Enrich Plat for miles points and Golden Lounge at KLIA, AmBank Plat and AEON Gold/AEON BiG Gold for PPL access.

Hi sifu and masta here. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

1. Annual Income: RM80-RM90K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: free or with very minimal fee

3. Card required for: mainly for utilities, around RM2k permonth (TNB, SAJ, ASTRO, TELEKOM, UMOBILE, CELCOM)

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil.

5. Looking at CC from: Need advise. Maximum cashback and saving.
*
TNB, SAJ (if is available via online), you can try HLB Wise. Minimum spending of RM 2k for RM 100 cash back. You can add utilities and another category (e.g. groceries, petrol). Free category will be mobile which you can use for your U Mobile and Celcom.

As for Astro, you can use CIMB Cash Rebate Plat.

Telekom, no credit card gives direct cash back unless you use PBB VS but that requires minimum income of RM 100k per annum. You can pump into HLB Wise as well to make it achieve RM 2k spending per month or you will have to apply an AEON card and pay it via UOBPayOnline/TM Portal. Then, pay back to AEON via PosOnline using CIMB CR but you will be charged with 2.12% service charge.

If you want to make your life easier, then just apply a HLB Wise and charge above to the card, you will be guaranteed with RM 100 cash back per month.

It is a good card if you can achieve at least RM 2k per month. smile.gif
It has AF though. Try choosing Gold as it is having the same benefit as Plat with lower AF.

However, you won't get cash back for things like Astro, Telekom. smile.gif So, you may not get full RM 100.

So it's considered as e-commerce or online payment then. That's the only option which gives 5%.

Do you have other cards?
If yes, you might want to consider reducing their credit limits and reapply this card again.
If no, you probably want to consider other cards like,

- Aeon Big card
- CIMB Petronas
