Reposting for further information:
1. Annual Income: reaching 200K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must / Able to waive off

3. Card required for:

Petrol - RM 700- RM 800
TNB- RM 800-RM 1000
Other utilities-RM 200
Phone Bill - RM 200 (Celcom & Maxis)
Streamyx: RM 160
Dining - RM 1000
Movie - RM 100
Groceries- like any typical family of 3-4, maybe about RM 1000
Wealth Insurance-RM 50K / yr which translates to RM 4166/month

4. Existing credit cards if any: Maybankard 2 cards Platinum AMEX and Visa, CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite, PB Visa Signature, MB Ikhwan Mastercard, RHB Premier Visa Infinite

5. Looking at CC from: As long as I can get maximum cash back, as of now I am able to max out the capped amount using PB Visa Signature and MB Ikhwan MasterCard . I am thinking about making use of benefiting from my HLA wealth insurance payment which is RM 50k/yr or RM 4166/month.

Any tips?

HLB Mach (5% CB Dining, 10% CB Movie)

For HLB fortune, I will be losing money if I opt for monthly payment because the commitment comes to RM 4300 instead of RM 4166. Is there an option for me to reap maximum benefits from this card since I will be paying RM 50K? smile.gif

Transfer your other transactions to this card to achieve RM 5k per month.

So if I reach 5K/month for this card , would it be superior to PB VS and MB MasterCard Ikhwan?

TNB, SAJ (if is available via online), you can try HLB Wise. Minimum spending of RM 2k for RM 100 cash back. You can add utilities and another category (e.g. groceries, petrol). Free category will be mobile which you can use for your U Mobile and Celcom.

As for Astro, you can use CIMB Cash Rebate Plat.

Telekom, no credit card gives direct cash back unless you use PBB VS but that requires minimum income of RM 100k per annum. You can pump into HLB Wise as well to make it achieve RM 2k spending per month or you will have to apply an AEON card and pay it via UOBPayOnline/TM Portal. Then, pay back to AEON via PosOnline using CIMB CR but you will be charged with 2.12% service charge.

If you want to make your life easier, then just apply a HLB Wise and charge above to the card, you will be guaranteed with RM 100 cash back per month.

Paying for Astro with CIMB CR will garner 5% or 2% CB?

5%.

So it's considered as e-commerce or online payment then. That's the only option which gives 5%.

PBB Visa Signature: 6% Cashback On Grocery, Dining, Online Transaction (Pay your bill thru UOB PayOnline : TNB, TM) or (TIME dot com portal: pay Time Broadband) to Earn CB.+ It's a Lifetime Fee Waiver Card with 12x Swipes p.a. (a MUST Have & most Recommended)
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3991972

Others Petrol, Groceries CB Credit Card,
MBB Visa Signature or MBB Ikhwan Mastercard or Citibank Cash Back or UOB One Card

I would Said VISA becos got more promo than Mastercard

Any other option for Streamyx payment using PBVS other than via uobpayonline or the TM portal?
