QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Feb 22 2016, 07:23 PM) http://www.ocbc.com.my/assets/pdf/Cards/tnc_card_ge2015.pdfClause 5 details the type of eligible transactions. It should come under (i) but maybe check with OCBC for confirmation. Do share with us the answer, I am looking at this card for insurance too. |

QUOTE(Volt @ Feb 24 2016, 03:41 PM) Hi, i need some recommendation for my first credit card. Petrol - Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard1. Annual Income: RM42k 2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: prefer free if posibble 3. Card required for: (Priority Wise) Petrol (fill at Petronas) , online purchase (google play/ steam) and easy pay (installment) 4. Existing credit cards if any: First Timer 5. Looking at CC from: CIMB petronas / CIMB cash rebate 6. Others: I dont care about point. Online purchase - CIMB CR or/and UOB VOX for transactions above RM 50. VOX you will just need to swipe once at any amount to avoid its monthly charges of RM 6.00 and can be used to pay for certain bills. CIMB CR is free for life but it has this 0.8% of cross border charges and most bill payments are not accepted. Not sure about installment because I don't do installment. |

QUOTE(awys @ Feb 25 2016, 10:52 PM) Thanks for the recommendations. Usually tickets are bought online. Wise is for petrol. You can another Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard for petrol too but cash back only applies if pump on Fridays and Saturdays. Is WISE card the better card for him compared to VOX card? Since he can hit 2k per month for just petrol alone. VOX is for online transactions, nothing to do with petrol. |

Existing credit cards if any: Maybank2Card Gold OCBC Titanium Stan Chart Business Plat Citibank Business Plat (cancelling it in 5 minutes) 5. Looking at CC from: Preferable not from Citibank (They spam too much with their insurances product) 6. Others: I would love to have free access to airport lounge since I travel quite frequently but those card usually have higher than what I earn requirement (120-180k) What is the best card I can get in rewards/benefit according to my spending behaviour? QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 17 2016, 10:41 PM) Petrol and groceries - Maybank Ikhwan MasterCard Maybank Ikhwan looks good. Will apply for it. But for UOB VOX and CIMB CR...still can't decide which card to get. My utilities will be TNB and mobile and internet bills like Celcom, Dgi, UMobile and P1. I hought it'd be easier to go with CIMB CR since it's free without condition but saw in later post, you mentioned most bill payments are not accepted. Help?Utilities - UOB VOX (assuming these bills can be paid via UOBPayOnline) Online Transactions - UOB VOX and CIMB Cash Rebate |
