Maybank Ikhwan looks good. Will apply for it. But for UOB VOX and CIMB CR...still can't decide which card to get. My utilities will be TNB and mobile and internet bills like Celcom, Dgi, UMobile and P1. I hought it'd be easier to go with CIMB CR since it's free without condition but saw in later post, you mentioned most bill payments are not accepted. Help?

yes, most bills not accepted for cb with cimb cr cc.

1. Annual Income:  RM60K to RM100K (basic 60k, incentive uncertain)

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Prefer free or waive-able unless I do utilize the benefits kao kao

3. Card required for:
Often spends on groceries/retail item (supermarket) (anywhere 5k-10k a month)
Dining or drinking ~ 2k
Petrol ~ RM500
Airticket (usually Airasia) ~ Let's put it at minimum RM1k a month

4. Existing credit cards if any:
Maybank2Card Gold
OCBC Titanium
Stan Chart Business Plat
Citibank Business Plat (cancelling it in 5 minutes)

5. Looking at CC from: Preferable not from Citibank (They spam too much with their insurances product)

6. Others:
I would love to have free access to airport lounge since I travel quite frequently but those card usually have higher than what I earn requirement (120-180k)
What is the best card I can get in rewards/benefit according to my spending behaviour? (All the card I am holding now are practically useless, all their benefits have been removed lol)

UOB VOX for air ticket. smile.gif

1. Annual Income: RM100K to RM150K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: -

3. Card required for: List all your needs. AirMiles, Free Plaza Premium Lounge Access

4. Existing credit cards if any: M2C, CIMB CR Plat MC, HLB WISE

5. Looking at CC from: PBB VS, Ambank WMC, mainly looking for good visa signature

6. Others: Actually looking for something that will collect good airmiles/points when used locally for like Rm2-5k transactions that are not under any category e.g. Car repairs, house downpayments, expensive packages etc. Was looking at Maybank VS but they're slashing the PPL tomorrow, seems less worthy. Although it only collects 1xTP.

You didn't mention if AF is a must.

If yes, you are down to Ambank WMC (with conditions) and RHB VS (5X) that allows PPL access.
Ambank WMC will have airmiles collection.

For Airmiles best would be Maybank2card Premier. No other than that. But there is annual fees involved take note on the spending requirement.

Yeah, haven't reach that income level, hence the dilemma...

Thanks for the suggestions though 👍

How much FD?

Pledge 30k or if you have existing Maybank cards and I saw other forummers just top up your existing credit limit to 30k.

I need some advice. Other then HLB Essential. I was looking for other unlimited cashback card. So far I found that UOB Vox give 0.3%, Affin give 0.8%

My Affin application got rejected. I already have Mach card, and with HLB Essential they wanted to split my limit which i didnt want.

So I need some suggestion on other cards which has unlimited CB? Any suggestions? Thx

24k per annum but with VI? blink.gif Supp card or?

Anyway, your best bet is CIMB CR which is free AF and UOB One but it has AF, gonna call to waive and if it allows.

1. Annual Income:RM120k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must (or easily achievable)

3. Card required for: cashback or good redemption program - online and autodebit insurance- average RM2k p/m, groceries - RM1k p/m, DBKL RM2k yearly, misc

4. Existing credit cards if any: A) 2 x Wise Card (monthly maxed for bill payment/groceries/petrol which is why looking for additional card)

B) CIMB World MC (which is almost useless except for promo at Sam's Groceria now till end March 2016)

C) Essential Card (used for every other thing but since cashback revised to 0.6%, now looking for better options)

D) MBB2 Cards (unused)

5. Looking at CC from: PBB Visa Signature (6% for groceries), You:nique (tiered cash rebate), MBB Ikhwan (5% rebate

6. Others: hardly travel so access to PPL not important

Thanks a lot smile.gif

Yes, PBB VS is what you should be going for.
Better still, get supplementary cards to add in more cash rebates (each supp card has its own cash rebates!)
