1. Annual Income: RM80-100k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferably free. Don't like to call and ask for waivers.

3. Card required for: Petrol, Dining, Travel

4. Existing credit cards: CIMB Platinum, American Express Platinum, Ocbc GE Platinum (Had Maybank Petronas Platinum, just cancelled an hour ago due to bad service from branch and call centre)

5. Looking at CC from: Don't mind any.

6. Others: Self employed. Don't intend to ever owe anything to credit card so interest/balance transfer/etc not important.

Thanks in advance for recommendations, sifus.

1. Annual Income: RM72K to RM84K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferably free. Don't like to call and ask for waivers. And it's not always guaranteed waiver nowadays

3. Card required for: List all your needs (spending as below)
Petrol - 200 monthly - Shell
Insurance - 1000 for whole family
Car Insurance - 600 annually
Utilities - 157.95 (unifi) , 250 (TNB), 60 (Telekom Phone), 105 (Astro), 150 (Maxis)
Groceries - 100
TnG - 220
Required : Cash Back/Rebate Only / unlimited cashback / good redemption items using points

4. Existing credit cards if any: Citibank Gold (Currently on AF RM50 after call for waiver but failed, want to cut it already)
5. Looking at CC from: Any, as long as given me maximum cash back based on my current recurring expenses
6. Others: currently all transcation made via online banking. Don't intend to ever owe anything to credit card so interest/balance transfer/etc not important.

Can someone advise 1 or 2 good cash back cards on the above criterias. Thanks.

Check out Balance Transfer Thread

or

click here to my Balance Transfer Plan 2016 Tutorial where I listed RHB 24 months effective interest 8.67% or Maybank 12 months with 3% upfront. 0% 6 Months only with Public Bank and AEON Credit. BSN got a 24 months too but I don't know how it works when it said 0% for first 12 months. Or HLB 6.99% reducing balance interest.

Yes, if you can maximize then just apply it. We always maximize the cash back of RM 100 per month, no issue at all. smile.gif

Thank you so much bro.... I browse through BSN website, the BT program for 24month is like 0% for the 1st 12months and 0.375% monthly on 2nd year.. which brings to 4.5% annually... if i divide by 2 thats mean i'm gonna pay like 2.25% per year...

am i right to say, the BSN BT suits me better compared to PB 12months 0%.. since i'm targeting to complete within 18months...

Hi Tigerr,

Would like to know how you do so and advise on how to achieve that?

Petrol - 200 monthly - Shell
Insurance - 1000 for whole family
Car Insurance - 600 annually
Utilities - 157.95 (unifi) , 250 (TNB), 60 (Telekom Phone), 105 (Astro), 150 (Maxis)
Groceries - 100
TnG - 220

I heard from my ex-colleague, we're working near KL Sentral and they always went to Sam's to do payment, reload. I want to know how you save 200 a month.

For Wise and I noticed you are working in KL Sentral, great, because I work here too and you can always drop by Sam's Groceria to reload TnG and pay your bills. Remember to choose Groceries category. biggrin.gif

For my Wise, I only choose utilities and groceries.
Utilities category is only TNB and Syabas. UniFi is not but you can pay in Sam's which I'm doing as well. smile.gif

In short: UniFi, Telekom, Astro can be paid via ePay and TnG can be reloaded in Sam's. Split the payment to RM 50 per transaction and TnG not worth to split because each transaction incurs RM 0.53 of service charge. So, I always reload RM 100 or RM 200 one shot.

For Maxis, just use Maxis Pay and it will be under Mobile category and split into three payments. rclxms.gif
