Hence the RGB colors on the cooler shroud that many brands are promoting on AiB units are useless. biggrin.gif

It's the part of the graphics card I see the least, I think I see the I/O more than the fans once it's in place.
*
Exactly! The RGB are just overhyped, adding more cost to the production leading to higher prices for the consumers. What a waste

got these info from LucroPC. Just google them up smile.gif

I like the GameRock cause of their clock speed. Highest from Palit but the aesthetics, i'll go with Super Jetstream. GameRock reminds me of the Rock Band font lol

Trusted bro. Haven't bought there but they can be trusted. I'm sure other trusted sellers would have the same price range. what 1070 you deposited from Idealtech? FE? How much is their pricing?

Still a good price bro for an FE smile.gif

Btw a lil OT, saw this earlier.

http://videocardz.com/61005/new-amd-radeon...mark-benchmarks

Which makes the 480 at par with the 980. Not bad for a $199 card. Nvidia still wins until AMD gives details about Vega.

Not bad but was hoping the RX 480 can beat GTX 980 though biggrin.gif LucroPC is also taking preorders for the RX 480.

I am quite curious if the pricing of the Asus Strix GTX OC (be it GTX1080 or GTX1070) in Taiwan (where Asus HQ is located at) would be the cheapest since it would be almost directly from the factory.

another indepth review on the asus strix 1080 oc
http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/asus_...080_review.html

not sure about cheapest, but seems like at least it doesn't have throttling issue. but whether the fps increase is worth extra cost, or whether to just simply get founder edition instead hmm.gif

by the way thanks for sharing the youtube video since it covered lots of AIB choices thumbup.gif

Thank you for posting that review of Asus Strix GTX1080.

I have an Asus Strix GTX970 and I didn't really like the cooler as it was really loud after 70% fan speed. Therefore, I replaced it, photos attached:

Welcome for the AIB videos as I am heavily considering for GTX1080 or GTX1070,

As of now, I am planning to get either Zotac (triple-fan version), Gigabyte (triple-fan version) or Galax (triple-fan version). I would like to avoid replacing the cooler this time.

The drive bay is removable and can be attached in other areas.

I have two of these cases.

Quite sturdy and not too heavy also (as compared to Silverstone TJ10 ESA edition, which I previously owned), I managed to transport this entire casing (including the installed components) to Jakarta.

Lately, most of the casings will have cut-outs. You could consider the following casing:

1. Coolmaster case pro
2. Phanteks series
3. Corsair's Obsidian series and Graphite series

Those were the cases which I was considering on the top of my mind.
