hi guys, anyone knows what's the best OC setting for Leadtek GTX 760? Whenever I try to OC it using the MSI afterburner, it always gives me the brown screen of death.

Gaming on my 4 year old Series 6 Samsung TV seems to be ok but the lag and the delay is very noticeable especially at fast moving scenes. Playing DS3, I performed a roll but still get caught because of the delayyyy! Contemplating on getting a monitor but thinking to upgrade my TV instead. Just waiting until they announce the retail price for the 1070.

guys, i'm really thinking if a 1070 would really be an overkill as I would only like to play max settings on a 1080p output at 60 fps. what will be a good alternative to a 1070?

Thanks for your inputs guys!

I really want to upgrade my 760. 1060 will probably arrive later this year. Hoping to have it released before BF1. biggrin.gif These 1070 reviews are really tempting. Hoping for under rm2k price point. biggrin.gif

And people still think it's sufficient to hit 30 fps. biggrin.gif

No it isn't, even on FPS once the counter shows 40ish range you'll also feel the pinch already.

Just because movies play at 25fps - 30fps doesn't mean it works the same for games. Some may say PS4 is 30fps what ......... .well yeah, that's PS4 games on TV. I also don't know how to explain, I play on both PS4 and PC and I can tell for sure that games at averaging at 30 - 60 fps, you'll encounter unpleasant experience from time to time once the framerate dips.

It's not overkill when it assures you the maximum optimal framerate most of the time.

Maybe overkill is too profound but I absolutely agree with you that these new cards matter with regards to performance and FPS stability. I was probably comparing 1070 vs older cards which would be the bang for the buck for 1080p gaming. I haven't done an in-depth research on the comparison between 1070 and 970 but it tells me that investing on a higher card is the way to go given the fact that 1070 is superior in all aspects but also future-proofing my rig as well.

It's just me or probably I think way too much that Pascal is intended for 1440p and above haha!

The prices are crazy for the Pascal! Probably gonna wait until Leadtek releases their 1080/1070. 2k above price tag just sucks the life outta my wallet lol

Hey Guys,

I asked for the prices for Palit and here are SRP

Palit GTX1070 Jetstream - RM1999
Palit GTX1070 Super Jetstream - RM2189
Palit GTX1070 GameRock - RM2099

Cheapest so far from the Pascal lineup.

got these info from LucroPC. Just google them up smile.gif

I like the GameRock cause of their clock speed. Highest from Palit but the aesthetics, i'll go with Super Jetstream. GameRock reminds me of the Rock Band font lol

Trusted ah bro? You bought from them before? I already paid deposit to Idealtech for the GTX 1070. 😓

Trusted bro. Haven't bought there but they can be trusted. I'm sure other trusted sellers would have the same price range. what 1070 you deposited from Idealtech? FE? How much is their pricing?

Still a good price bro for an FE smile.gif

Btw a lil OT, saw this earlier.

Which makes the 480 at par with the 980. Not bad for a $199 card. Nvidia still wins until AMD gives details about Vega.
