QUOTE(kianweic @ Jun 15 2016, 10:42 AM) The drive bay is removable and can be attached in other areas. I have two of these cases. Quite sturdy and not too heavy also (as compared to Silverstone TJ10 ESA edition, which I previously owned), I managed to transport this entire casing (including the installed components) to Jakarta. Wah shipping cost must be damm huge 4 these sizes

QUOTE(Topet @ Jun 15 2016, 10:53 AM) Gonna get me one of these case. easy to manage cable and got removable drive bay. You could also consider the Corsair Air series 540 or 240. The latter supports MATX/ITX mobos, which I am using. Provides excellent cable management and good air flow

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Jun 15 2016, 12:14 PM) Haha ok very good idea I have travelled to Australia and Indonesia with my full tower PC for a few times, previously. Other than the weight and the installed components (mainly the tower cooler). The rest is a breeze.

QUOTE(kianweic @ Jun 15 2016, 07:34 AM) Thank you for posting that review of Asus Strix GTX1080. I have an Asus Strix GTX970 and I didn't really like the cooler as it was really loud after 70% fan speed. Therefore, I replaced it, photos attached: Wahh, Accelero Extreme IV. Just wondering, does the hot air blown upwards from the GPU back fin get suck into the CPU cooler heatsink? Does it effect the CPU cooling

Does it effect the CPU cooling Artic Cooling Accelero Extreme IV without the backplate heatsink from Artic Cooling because it was a nightmare to remove Asus Strix GTX 970 backplate. The casing have plenty of airflow. My GPU's temperature is around 31c @ idle and below 56c @ load. My Processor's temperature is around 29c @ idle and below 55c @ load.

Something to learn and consider if I change GPU in future. Currently I'm running Asus GTX970 Turbo OC SLI, zero slot gap in between, and I'm getting 80C + 76C at gaming 1440p UW or 4K with around 29C~30C room ambient temperature.

I wanted to explore using Artic Cooling Accelerro IV in a SLI environment. Unfortunately, I don't think that would fit in any setup given that it takes more than 2 slots (per GPU) and also the fact that I am using a Asus Xonar D2X soundcard in between.

Besides the size, SLI will run hotter than single card. I read that it will pumped too much hot air into the case and its better if you can get a reference card for 2nd SLI to blow hot air out. Otherwise you have to improve the case ventilation significantly. I know I've done CF with 2 x Dual Fan AMD R9 270 and temp was crazy high. Even the CPU temp went up because of the huge amount hot air circulating inside the case.

As of now, my casing currently have like 4x 140mm intake fans (ie. front and top) and 1x 140mm exhaust fan (ie. the back). I find that this results in a slightly lower temparuture as compared to 2x 140mm intake fans and 3x exhaust fans setup. What was your fan setup for your SLI / CF which resulted in large amount of hot air "trapped" inside the case?

I find that this results in a slightly lower temparuture as compared to 2x 140mm intake fans and 3x exhaust fans setup. What was your fan setup for your SLI / CF which resulted in large amount of hot air "trapped" inside the case? Well, for one, the R9 270 GPU is already a pretty hot, even on the Sapphire Dual-X. Plus my case was pretty small, the BitFenix Prodigy M. CF with zero slot gap some more. Card temp reached 90+C for bottom, the top card reached 100C even on stock. I only had 2 x 120mm intake bottom, 1 x 120mm CPU AIO out rear, plus 230mm out top. Well I think even with bigger case, the result would have been the same because of the zero slot gap between the cards. Basically the top card is taking in the hot air coming out from the side of the bottom card. So after a while, ditch that, and when for a single R9 290 GPU. Now using Asus GTX 970 Turbo OC SLI. Goes well with the NZXT Phantom white color case. This post has been edited by adilz: Jun 15 2016, 07:18 PM

AMD targeting different market segment with RX 480. Its never meant to compete against 1070. Read that during E3, AMD announced the RX 470 and RX 460 too, which basically concludes the Polaris 10 line up. Guess GTX 1070 and 1080 won't be have any competition until Vega comes out. If RX 480 can come even to 10% close to 1070, its a no brainer if the asking price is here is RM 1,249.
