Hello,
Kang's travelers is seriously noisy because it is facing directly on the main road.
We can't sleep that night because buses/motorists passing by atleast till midnight.
That room I stayed was facing on the main road, maybe those rooms behind will be better.

Thanks.. I think we'll go for twinpines since it's cheaper. KRS was fully booked.

BTW how about food. I think dinners will most probably steamboats but I wonder how about lunch? Where to get affordable lunch without getting cincang?

ic....how about tanah rata? i heard brinchang is abit noisy n too many people n traffic...any comments on Bala's Holiday Chalet???
*
i stay at bala last may...
the place is nice...quiet..and has beautiful garden...
i went during the extended weekend...only suite room left so we took it anyway...
the room is pretty big though...
can accommodate a big family .

overall i don't really like cameron because it's too crowded...at least when i was there.. not sure about other time...
i do not fond of going for a holiday in a busy and crowded place.

hi, i am newbie of lowyat.net greeting everyone here, and this is my first post.... Talking about the cameron hotel, anyone has any idea about the country lodge resort and also Brinchang hotel in cameron? The service there is good or not? I plan to stay there on monday night (means no pasar malam) so is it a wise choice to choose either one of these 2 hotels? (my trip is on school holiday)

Hi bro, welcome to LYN smile.gif I do think Pasar malam will be available everyday when school holiday. About the hotel, I don't have any idea about the service because never stay there yet.

I stayed at Country Lodge twice. It's located high up at the bck of Brinchang town, thus less traffic noises compare to other hotels near the main street. However for the price (Not cheap >RM120/nite) I would rather stay at a cleaner budget guesthouse such as KRS (~RM70) in Tanah Rata

Why? The hotel is abit aging & smell damp wth the old carpet that u dun feel wanting to take out ur shoe

Not really all-lah...but atleast I tried most of the wellknown one oledi.. biggrin.gif ...currently my value for money for sure is KRS guesthouse...deep inside a dead end of Jln mentagi Tanah Rata..comes wth 2 single beds, attached bathroom & it's super duper clean. The TV is on the common area on each floor but most of the time the Astro hall is empty & u can play wth the remote controls all day long..provided it's not during peak period-lah.. biggrin.gif

me too just got back tongue.gif tongue.gif
CH is damn crowded man yawn.gif yawn.gif

stayed at Hotel Titiwangsa for this time
new hotel just 3 months old
price wise is ok - RM155 for quad room (damn big !!) and FOC extra bed
downside - facing the brinchang main road, can hardly sleep during nite time (i am very picky, cant sleep with even minimal noises)
if one can tahan the noise, then its good

if get those double room, which faces the back
then its good thumbup.gif

p/s: was quoted RM148 for a tiny quad room at Parkland and RM200 for Rosa sweat.gif sweat.gif

just went back from CH yesterday too.

there is one place not to be missed other than the usual tea plantation and all that:

Time Tunnel. something like a museum. and it is worth the RM5 admission fee.

will go there again when i'm in CH in the future.

it is located just before Kea Farm. if you go from Brinchang, it will be located on the right. there'll be signboards laeding it.
