Hey mates... I'll be making a 2D 1N trip to the Camerons on the way back from KL after 3D2N in Penang... Is it sufficient time to visit those popular spots like the Boh Plantation and vegie farms?

And also, what are the recommended hotels between the RM100-200+ range? The Equatorial is actually offering standard rooms for around RM230+ (after tax and surcharge), is it a good hotel for those of u who have stayed there? I'm also considering the Century Pines and Rosa Passadena though...

sufficient enuf

tourist attraction spots
- BOH tea plantation (bharat or sungai palas)
- Bee Farm
- Strawberry Farm
- Vege Farm
- Flower&Cactus Farm
- Kea Farm ( Pasar Pagi)
- Brinchang Pasar Malam
- Steamboat

stayed in rosa b4...it's a bit dirty and old .. bad management ler..but restaurant is all over within walking distance..
century pines is ok

how many ppl will be going?
actually i will recommend to stay in star regency
pasar malam is just at the entrance
all the restaurant are just 5 minutes walking distance away

equatorial 1 is a good deal with all the vouchers and rebates
but the food charges are rather on the high side

Well, there should be three of us going, which are me and my gf as well as her sis... I think a hotel room is more than sufficient also ya? Since one of us can sleep on the couch or another single bed...

And yeah, i also feel that 2D1N is more than enough time to complete most of the Camerons... As for hotels, other than these three and the Star Regency, what are the other recommended ones?

normally if i go to cameron with my gf i will stay in the hotel call rainbow hotel or kowloon hotel
both of them is quite ok compare to rosa
also there're not far from the pasar malam
(last time used to be in front of it... but shifted to the police station there already)

if a group of us then we'll opt for star regency

Hahaha, lots of suggestions here, very much appreciated... How much are the Rainbow and Kowloon hotels charging per night actually? I'm still considering the Equatorial as well as century, but how about the Strawberyy?

The Equatorial there is good. But, Heritage is even better. You can have more privacy at Heritage and there is less risk of landslide. Bala's Chalet is also quite good.

But heritage is pricey, the cheapest rooms are going for around rm350... Its a nice hotel though, as shown from the website...

not exceeding 150 during weekends ( not too sure already.. was singled for quite a long time)
last few times i went i stayed in star regency and equatorial only

strawberry is good... very good atmosphere to stay with gf
but very pricey
300+ for a hotel room during weekends

basically the stuff that is good bargain is veges, fruits, flowers, cactus
for the strawberry.. even the fresh picked are not all sweet
some are sour like h3ll
very much depend on the weather
