ya. at the corner need slowdown.. sometime bus hon to remind opposite side got car coming....

tongue.gif Yalorr! drive up. From KL to Tapah, only 60 mins to 80 mins. From there up to Ringlet the most is 2 hours only, no matter how slow you are. After Lata Iskandar waterfall can switch off air cond liao. You will enjoy the drive.

Drive carefully and safely. nod.gif If you still reluctant to drive, can book a taxi for whole day and the driver will become your guide also. You only need to book one day as most attractions can be covered in one day and the next day can relax in apartment and walk around Tanah Rata. icon_idea.gif

She has 2 apartments in Carnation Park. Both of them furnished identically and they are nice. Complete with cooking utensils, astro and off course water heater. My only complain is the pillows are too flat (penyet). There are 3 rooms and two of them with double bed and another single bed but there are another two single mattresses with spare blankets and pillows. smile.gif

yeah, shouldn't be a problem.
through simpang pulai route will be easier.
but once you reach Brinchang, I'm sure there will be jam because of the night market.

smile.gif Driving up to C.Highlands at night is relatively safe but make sure your car is tip top. I used to drive up via Tapah even after midnight and the Cameronians drive down and up again after their happy hour in Ipoh quite normally.

Don't worry about the jam in Brinchang, the road is jammed only on major holidays and on normal days there are no jams.

One thing though, if you go up during the night, there will be nothing when you reach and you waste a night there and still have to pay an extra night for accomodations. If you start your journey at dawn, you will reach CH in the mornings and also at the right time for checking in. Save one night hotel expenses. The road is safer too and brighter. You spend the dark time travelling on the PLUS highway and by the time you reach the foothills (either Tapah or Simpang Pulai) it already daylight. You also enjoy the same playtime in CH when you start at dawn. hmm.gif

As far as I know, the Parkland Apartment (in Brinchang) have got the BBQ facilities for rent (around RM50). Not so sure, if there are any public area with BBQ facility.

So many budget hotels available there.
You can just walk in and ask. Or maybe check the room out first before you decide which is the best and pay.

At Brinchang or Tanah Rata?
Maybe Brinchang is better cos you can just walk to the pasar malam during the night.
