That can be work out between the community. We can collect funds & request for sponsor.
As long as there is allocation, the land will not be use for other purposes. It is up to the community to make it happen.

By right the SPD Type 1 should've been installed by SD themselves. This has been overlooked by their M&E consultants and it is not right that we have to install this ourselves. Anybody interested in the subject can refer to the attachment by Schneider Pg14.

Any Nobat residents would be kind enough to share a picture of their Distribution board (DB)? I'd be interested to know if this was installed for their unit or it's "conveniently" left out as well. Nobat seem to have lightning rods as well.

Yes it appears so if based on the guideline you have provided. Buildings with ligthning rod should have type 1 + type 2 SPD. This also clearly indicated that the area is prone to lightning strike. How to bring up this issue to SD? Can we also refer to TNB to rectify if this design is compliant?

SD customer service officer very good in 'tai chi'. Everytime i try clarify some issues with them they always say refer to their contractor. I'm beginning to 'fed up' with their behaviour.

SD is building a surau in Elmina East near Ariza.

SD do not build surau, sekolah, dewan & perpustakaan for BBR 1. the same will apply in BBR2. before this, i have already ask the SA.

however, they will contribute some money to the construction of masjid BBR and build jogging track along the lake (nafiri area).

Maybe can be discus with the community on the funding. Can be work out. As long as there is already land allocation. It doesn't mean it wouldn't be build. That is just my concern.

The residents association there should put more pressure to SD to built the flyover/underpass.

I see most occupants in saron has nice cars. one unit got for rent signage. got units with massive renovation. some people not so friendly too..

Nowadays sd contractor got a lot of issues. U guys still
got warranty, make sure u test all leakage.
Important is to get the pipping and electrical layout, so it's easier to detect problems. I have same issue with SD and now tenant complaint leakage. Shoooot

That being said, anyone having Saron's piping and electrical layout for sharing? Makes DIY drilling works much easier.

Anyway, I've just sent an email to Sime Darby few days ago to complain the lack of proper lightning protection and haven't got any reply till date. I hope more residents are aware of this problem and together we can get it solved:

Good effort bro for the complaints to SD.

Found out that a number of owners starts to move in to Saron. Maybe there should be a community/platform/social media(fb/whatsapp/telegram) groups that can be developed to keep us update on the current issue.
