i have this undersink, first filter is 1 micron, second is 5 micron CTO. at the faucet there connected to 3M water purifier.

i just installed this and ran the water for 20 seconds only, the first filter so fast became dirty, is that normal or my area water condition is extremely bad?

why there is bubble inside ? water pressure not enough? im pretty sure no leaking.

purpose to install this i want cleaner water even for dish washing, and to pro long the life of 3M water purifier. no outdoor filter, condo cannot install also not going to hack wall.

You are right, something has gone wrong. My reading was wrong.
So I test again.

Tap water before filter = 45ppm
Filtered water by Culligan EZ-4 = 44ppm

Hey guys! I'm currently using 3M AP Easy Complete water filter.
The issue that i'm facing is that the cartridge got to be replaced way too frequent, like 2 mth rather than 6mth-1yr. Each cartridge is not cheap thou. =S

According to the manual, it says whenever the water flow slows down, it has to be replaced. Even the indicator shows 6mths, in fact it's only 2 mths.

Is there a way which I can avoid changing the cartridges so frequent?

5 or 1 micron pre-filter. No plumbing, easy install just before 3M.

These 1-stage "all in one miracle" filters ALWAYS require pre-filter, otherwise they do get clogged in just few months.

btw, i got the 3m adapter liao. which filter should i try it on.   if jalan, maybe can daisy chain 2 3M filters. 

You house has separate dry kitchen and wet kitchen ? If yes, one filter head in dry kitchen for drinking purposes and another one in wet kitchen for the repurpose retired drinking cartridge for washing and cooking.

no, i mean do like the higher end 3m filter which have 2 filters inside the unit which are connected in series.

This is a new counter top design, can't use it for undersink installation. Sharing the same 3M NSF certified C Complete cartridge as in AP Easy Complete.
If you want cheaper option and undersink installation, go for the RM350 3M CTM-01. After one year usage, replace the cartridge with C Complete. You will get same water quality as in CTM-02.

Spitzer should be about 200 EC, give or take, so roughly 300-400ppm depending on meter.

2ppm is kinda very low even for RO. Suspecting that your meter does not read high values, stuck at 22?

Yalar, if you minus the replacement cartridge cost from the price of the complete set, you will find out the price of the filter head alone is so cut throat  overpriced.

lets say cartridge is 300-400,
but full set is 1k. (full set just have extra plastic head and tube parts)
