Try to search for water filter diverter, but not sure whether it helps in reducing the splash or not

Hi I am looking for water purifier recommendations

1. landed or condo? Condo
2. how many pax in your household? 4 pax
3. got senior / babies / people with disease like kidney failure for example in the house? No
4. can you able to do some small DIY installing yourself or not? (like replacement filter yourself?) Yes
5. how much u afford to installment per month for at least 5 years? 50/mth or 100/mth or 150/mth? Open
6. or do u prefer 1-time off purchase? below 1k or 2k or 3k? Open
7. do you own external water filter yet? No
8. hot/water function is it a must for you? will you willing to fork out another RM50/mth electricity bill for the feature? or you just stick with thermal pot + fridge cold water? Open
*
Any particular brand/model that u are looking at?

Perhaps we can start comparing from there

No particular brand, the only limitation are the space (since condo unit for installation of POE filters) and I am from East Malaysia. So happy to hear any recommendations.

Thanls.
*
If u are highly concerned about space constraints, can consider undersink filters

But mostly only provide room temp water, some brands with hot and cold water (Wells, PuriEarth etc.) but can be pricy

Tabletop models (Cuckoo, Coway. LG etc.) usually takes about 50 x 50cm of ur kitchen space

hi. is undersink water dispenser good? my kitchen is small and so i dont like the table top water dispenser. but find out like not many using undersink water dispenser, is it anything wrong with undersink water dispenser?
*
Undersink water filter functions just like table top ones, just that they usually are more expensive and equipped with less functions

But if u need only room temperature water, the cheaper ones cost RM1.5k

Actually what's so special about Intrix? My friend went for that, like 4k?

I went for Hestati's option instead.
*
Filter and dispenser combined, removes the trouble of refilling dispenser tank with filtered water

But Rm4k kinda pricey

Nesh is doing a product launch.. smart tap combo with ocean undersink filters.. yeah, countertop spaces are good to have.. and mostly undersink spaces are marginally underutilized so, it's good storage space for the filters..

ain't cheap.. we're probably getting it.
*
They selling the smart tap and filtering unit separately?

Nesh smart tap for RM3k and Nesh Ocean (filters) for another RM3k? Total RM6k? blink.gif blink.gif

Hello, im looking for a good water purifier, stomp upon LG, are they any good and worth getting ?
*
I believe our water purifiers function mostly same with other big brands like Cuckoo and Coway, hot & cold water, tankless

A few key points that LG different than the others:

1. RM50/mth (Current promo price for WD516)

2. SUS304 stainless steel internal pipe

3. Auto up-down moving tap (reduces spillage)

4. Auto UV sterilisation for water outlet

5. LG ThinQ app monitoring

How to choose between under sink or table top filter?

does under sink comes with different temperature?
*
Really up to u, table top usually has more functions than under sink at the same price, but take up some space on the kitchen

Undersink offers more kitchen space as it moves a bulk of it into the kitchen cabinet, but usually has no cold water and self sterilisation functions, also more expensive

Hi guys..am using coway water purifier now. I want to change to natural water instead of RO water. Got any recommendation which brand to take?
*
What are ur requirements? LG uses ultra-filtration instead of RO, but both have their pros and cons

WD516 currently have a value deal at RM50/mth, can check out more here

I m using Tong Yang water dispenser, there got 4 filters need to be replace. Can anyone suggest where to buy the ORIGINAL filters online? Or switch to another brand like Picogram?  Thanks
*
Try Shopee, otherwise a quick google search shows their dealer https://www.compeer.my/tong-yang-water-dispenser/

Cons of smaller filter brands with no local support in Msia, u nvr know when they'll be gone and u have no way to contact them sweat.gif

Today, I have change my 4 water dispenser filters and I find out these OLD water filters got 2 pre carbon filters. Can anyone tell me is this normal service they provide is safety? or I got cheated?
*
It's unusual, but i've no idea, maybe they are trying to extend the frequency of service by having the duplicate filters

Hi, anyone heard or has experience with the I-tech STAR 810 tankless dispenser?

It seems to be able to do both cold and hot tankless dispensing.

I'm actually looking for a dispenser that can do both COLD and HOT, but without a filter because I'm using right now a Fresca PoU system, but with the smaller disruptor. Is there such a device or they all come with filters?
*
I'd say its a very very niche product, so ur options are pretty limited

Cuz most ppl need hot/cold water after they're filtered so that it can be directly used, very little ppl need a tankless dispenser that doesn't come with filters

Thanks for your reply!

Yeah it seems for cold dispensing, so far I can only find Jiksoo and Puricare, but this STAR 810 by I-tech seems to be the same unit as the Intact Q6+, but at a much cheaper price.
From what I can see it seems to be the cheapest way to get tankless cold water.

Has anyone had experience with the Intact Q6+?
*
Actually many brands have tankless cold dispensing, but mostly comes with filters which u do not need

Otherwise, can consider to just get those dispenser with tank (I think xiaomi should have), slightly more troublesome needing to refill the tank but cost much less than RM1,250

Or, get an ice maker machine (costs about RM350) biggrin.gif
