QUOTE(hye @ Sep 26 2008, 10:43 AM) Not really. I also have this problem right now ... apparently since they open the porting to Postpaid users, the numbers of daily applications jumped to beyond that 100 per day limit. My porting has been due for like 10 days and when I checked ... application has not been rejected, just that still in the queue for processing. I agree that perhaps the number of porting request has increased since mnp soft launch, merely stating the possibilities there as I know of people who have experienced this. Looks like MNP is slowly moving towards its aim of pushing the telcos to ensure service and quality This post has been edited by Archer123: Sep 26 2008, 02:49 PM

Getting Started

I just call the service center, asking about my status... They said my application is under queue. But the porting might be processed in nearly 24 hours... Now still waiting with thousand of hopes...

QUOTE(Archer123 @ Sep 26 2008, 10:09 AM) Its possible that your account details are not accurate, eg. old ic number and new ic number used creating a mismatch between the 2 telcos info not using old ic, now new ic aplly only. Maxis like that 1, i'm not suprise. complaint only to MCMC.

Basically most people moving out of Celcom or Digi and into another telco but Maxis. Maxis probably has more output than input. I'm happy on this news as I have been unhappy with Maxis for years and all this while they can get away with such poor customer service. Now with MNP, consumers who are unhappy with Maxis will just take their 012/017 number and run away!

Digi and celcom are currently the cheapest.
OCS = FREE Cheaper calling rate/more amazing promotion.
I have to agree maxis is crappy now.
For tech support prepaid user must pay.Everything they offer must have a * or catch. Now i still wonder the call me bonus still have or not everything just disappear from their website.

I think Digi will be very aggresive in the upcoming months after they launch their 3G service. They sure want to pancing maxis numbers.

They been winning since day 1. Maxis only win because they started earlier and they have the money to build towers. But now digi already ahead of them. if maxis dont improve their service i think they will have a hard time maintaining. Who knows Digi might end up taking over maxis hahaha.
