Chill people. No point arguing so much on this issue.
It's just that, judging from the responses by many people in this particular thread, they are many who are porting their numbers to Digi and many has complained about the bad customer service that Maxis has been providing for many years.
It's just a trend, not about being pro-Digi / Maxis / Celcom. Consumers these days are smarter than before and they know what they want and which offers the best values and rates while at the same time, providing good customer service.
If any network operator that has gone over the head and be ignorant, this is the price they have to pay hen MNP goes nationwide. If you are not doing anything to improve yourself, why should consumers stick with you?
Among all three network operators, the one that is going more aggressive in promoting their prepaid and postpaid service has got to be Digi, compared to Maxis and Celcom, they seem to be rather quiet.
A simple observation tells that Maxis and Celcom are afraid of losing their customers and yet they can't come up with a plan to counter Digi, hence, they decided to keep quiet about the MNP and hoped that users are too lazy to head down to the designated branch to port their numbers.
I am doing a small research for assignment purpose, hence, the active participation in this particular thread. For the past 100 replies here, many has opted to switch to Digi. It's just like that.
No offense.
Why not we move on and start discussing about MNP as October has arrived and they should be going nationwide anytime soon. Just waiting for the official word from MCMC.
Not having a flat rate across all network is what makes Hotlink users run away. After MNP is implemented nationwide, there might be no way for you to know which number is with which operator, meaning you are risking of calling to another network anytime. If the rate is flat, there will be no worries at all.
