What sort of question is this? If you want to see Sakura then when else are you supposed to go other than that end March / early April period? doh.gif

where u heading to? tokyo?
btw u bring how much cash go there??  drool.gif

for my upcoming nov 12D11N-Tokyo (kanto area only) inclusive flight & hotel for 2 pax was budgetted for rm10-12K.. BUT after finalizing 70% of my ground itinerary & food (due to too much good recommendations on net/blog) the budget gonna get BUSTED and is now near the range of 15K on paper. yawn.gif yawn.gif

shocking.gif just have to press balls hard since decided to go.. do it right its better than being there but this cannot, that cannot

my piece of advice, 12D11N is kinda too long/costly, maybe 8D7N would be perfect

my budget for makan for my coming trip rm300/2pac/day.. doable?

plan to have at least a good proper meal per day..
breakfast mostly from convenience store...

i plan to bring only rm5k worth of yen for my 12day trip (makan/transportation/admission fee) and will try to utilise my credit card if it's allowed

enough?

Yes...!!!

What I did bck then

1. JPY500, coffee n bread for breakfast at any convenience shop e.g. lawson, family mart, KK, 7e
2. JPY500, small stuff e.g. chocolates, snacks for lunch from any shop around train station or convenient shops
3. JPY1K, proper dinner set (rice, meat, vege, soup, water). u can even get cheaper less than JPY1K at shop like yoshinoya and few other small2 shop which can be easily find along the streets.

>>my budget for makan for my coming trip rm300/2pac/day.. doable?

Yes, for 12D (12x3=36meals), Per pax, i allow breakfast Y600x12=Y7200; mid-range lunch/dinner Y1000x20=Y20000; and high range lunch/dinner (sushi etc) Y4000x4=Y16000;

total Y43200x2pax=Y86,400, say Y87000/36meals for 2 pax = rm258/2pax/day

>>i plan to bring only rm5k worth of yen for my 12day trip (makan/transportation/admission fee)

rm5K = <Y150000 for 12 days? i deeply DOUBT so for 2 pax!! if u meant bring rm 5K per pax, then OK..makan oledi Y87000(estimate), transport/ad fees very subjective la, if no go anywhere, maybe can.

don't count of credit card unless u all meals/ shoppe at 5-star

Since both are related to temperature, if autumn leaves peak later, will cherry blossom peak earlier or later too?

yeah...if i recall correctly, i read before that autumn leaves and sakura is opposite of one another..so if autumn leaves is later, cherry blossom in 2016 will be earlier..which is good news to me biggrin.gif
