This maybe subject to "do homework...!!!", but I'm trying my luck.
Ok I'm planning to visit Japan this August, 8 days trip with best tix price around 9++ Haneda Airport, others were pricey. The initial plan: 1. Hiking at Kamikochi 2. Take train up to Aomori and stop at few towns, yet to decide. Maybe 2 or 3 town before heading down to Tokyo So was thinking if u guys got any idea to share during the hot month of August in Japan. Appreciate the help. Thanks JS This post has been edited by JooSeng: Jun 29 2015, 01:46 PM |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Jun 30 2015, 10:48 AM) If August 2 to 7 then Aomori + Akita. For the summer festival. Going to japan on the 2nd week of august.Nebuta and Kanto Matsuri. If not around these date then head south to Okayama for summer delicious peach. So will miss nebuta and kanta matsuri i believe. N im not so into makan Im now planning to go hiking Northern Japan Alps, 4D3N But not difficult one la, don't hv the stamina anymore This would cover: 1. Kamikochi 2. Mt. Tate 3. Kurobe Dam 4. N other nature area around those mountains So im thinking of which place should i stay, should I go for: 1. Matsumoto ( Seems to be nice, got Northern alps view, n can rent bike, so less boring 2. Omachi ( This place does not have much to do beside being close to Mt. Tate) 3. Takayama ( I believe this one a bit far) Thanks RC This post has been edited by JooSeng: Jul 6 2015, 01:12 AM |

QUOTE(notok @ Sep 3 2015, 07:06 PM) Thanks for your feedback. Because I plan to go to minakami and kusatsu onsen area. I check from Japan - guide Web page, the round trip from Tokyo to kusatsu onsen already cost 1000 0 yen. Is there any cheapest alternative ways to go there? QUOTE(RegentCid @ Sep 3 2015, 07:16 PM) 1st time to Tokyo? I wont recomemded you go Kusatsu Onsen. It too far away and you must over night at Kusatsu Onsen. If no plan overnight no point going there. Agree with RC, plus there is quite alot of nice places u should cover. Normally kampung places should be the least 2D1N. Otherwise rugi weh cuz u can't actually enjoy the kampung life. I've been to both places, n if can repeat i would go for 3D2N But nonetheless is up to your preference as well bro |

QUOTE(heavencloud @ Sep 15 2015, 09:48 AM) 2) during the flight (both kl > haneda and kansai > kl) , may I know how many meals time that will be served by air asia? This post has been edited by JooSeng: Sep 15 2015, 10:02 AM2 times 3) in kyoto, is it much efficient to take the taxi or the bus (since some of the attractions a bit far from the train station) ? bus, they have this one day pass for JPY500 (if not mistaken) will cover all tourist places and bicycle would be fun too. u can buy they ticket once u have come out from kyoto station |

QUOTE(komik88 @ Sep 16 2015, 11:25 PM) actually i dont mind rugi 1 day. Initial i thought of rent the pupuru wifi cause they having promotion, but the website did not mention did i still able to collect the wifi after 11pm, so i do not dare to take the risk to book first. google bro...i use it all the time during my Japan travelBut after i check another wifi from http://www.globaladvancedcomm.com/pocketwifi.html this 1. wifi collection time is 24H if i use premium delivery. so i think premium delivery is my choice. Anyway tq ^^ oh ya.. i stucked at choose terminal step. but after i research.. T1 and T2 is domestic flight if im not mistaken. so i just put international for terminal box? still have 1 more question @@ i used hyperdia last year when im travel to osaka. but now im unable to download the app from malaysia appstore, i search internet they said hyperdia is just available in US and japan appstore. Any alternative app to use if i malas to switch my store country? |

QUOTE(ivzh @ Sep 22 2015, 02:25 PM) my budget for makan for my coming trip rm300/2pac/day.. doable? Yes...!!! plan to have at least a good proper meal per day.. breakfast mostly from convenience store... b i plan to bring only rm5k worth of yen for my 12day trip (makan/transportation/admission fee) and will try to utilise my credit card if it's allowed enough? What I did bck then 1. JPY500, coffee n bread for breakfast at any convenience shop e.g. lawson, family mart, KK, 7e 2. JPY500, small stuff e.g. chocolates, snacks for lunch from any shop around train station or convenient shops 3. JPY1K, proper dinner set (rice, meat, vege, soup, water). u can even get cheaper less than JPY1K at shop like yoshinoya and few other small2 shop which can be easily find along the streets. |
