Hi guys, 2k budget on a living room sound system should I get a S3000 PRO or a sound bar?

Mostly drama, YouTube,music, gaming, 1-2 movie a week

If important is music, get S3000 PRO. If all equal or more on movie, sound bar with sub-woofer.

Looking for tiny desktop speakers. Is there a big difference in sound quality between CREATIVE T60 and Creative Pebble V3? (T60 cost double of pebble v3).

Btw I have Edifier R1700BT in living room for many years already, how will the Creatives compare to R1700BT?

Also looking at Edifier G2000 which is also rm300. Like the size but hate the gaming aesthetics tbh.

Pebble V3 using 2.25" driver, 8W RMS. T60 using 2.75" driver, 30W RMS. T60 will be better. But both is nothing if compare with R1700BT, it have 9mm dome tweeter and 4" bass driver.

If I were you, I'll upgrade living room speaker and use R1700BT for desktop.

No budget to upgrade living room speakers haha.

My budget is rm300 for speakers to pair with laptop on limited desk space.

Creative T60 for rm300 and Edifier G2000 for rm250, which do you think is the better purchase?

For laptop pairing with limited desk space, i would personally just go for the pebble. Just a single usb connection, no need for a separate power cable or audio cable. The T60 and G2000 will of course sound better, but with none of them having a dedicated bass driver or tweeter, you're not gonna get serious audio quality from any of them.

Full range drivers often have limitations, so might as well choose the cheapest and the most convenient features.

Lazada or shopee got sell speaker stand. Search for bookshelf speaker stand. Some seller have list of different height stand, so you can match with your speaker height and listening position.

within few hundred budget only bah.. as if buy speaker for my pc use sure spend more.. too bad edifier S2000 do not have jack for subwoofer. klipsh have output for subwoofer but no wireless remote.. damn it.. why cannot do all in 1

Hi all, I am right now using R1700bt edifier. If I want to upgrade, what is the next best choice? I’m using it for my PC. Would like to have something smaller to save some desk space.

Is harman kardon sound sticks good? Or just for the look only? But iirc someone once told me speakers, the squarish and wooden ones are the still the best. Is that correct?
