Hi sifus. I'm looking for a cheap and good 2.0/2.1 PC speaker within a budget of around RM600. My current list of speakers is below. Any other recommendations or advice?
1. Creative Pebble X Plus
2. Logitech Z625
3. Edifier MR4
4. Edifier R1700BTs
5. Edifier R1280DB

15 year mean you already old maybe can have a hearing check before buy ,me got hearing loss and some frequency is lost too can't 100% tell the difference 😂

Personal have 1280 and 1700 is good and sufficient for my need you can consider about it or short listed cheers

if u still prefer 2.1 and you are happy with S530D u can consider S350DB/S351DB/S360DB

you mean model R1700BT? your message do really let me think of whether go budget like 1700 or choosing either s2000mkiii or A80 Airpulse.

Do you think R1700BT lack of "bass"? I am not that heavy bass head, sufficient is more than enough.

I am rather happy with S530D except some mid/high were rather ear piercing/sharp, so wondering whether either R1700BT + T5 subwoofer or S2000mkiii/A80 airpulse. What do you think?

what is your usage environment? desktop speakers or for TV speaker? for ur S530d did u do toe in?
R1700BT + T5 subwoofer or S2000mkiii/A80 airpulse
these systems are more than 1.5k that u have set earlier. R1700BT to pair with T5 is tricky.. R1700BT only have RCA in (no RCA out)..so if u r using a pc or even other dac you need to first run the cable into the input of T5 and from T5 runs the rca cable to R1700BT.. with this setup.. ur R1700BT cannot work on RCA if ur T5 is off and ur R1700BT by bluetooth connection nothing will trigger T5 to work.

T5 may work better for Airpulse series like A80 that is having subwoofer output that will not have these limitation

Gonna use it for my PC and will be use to listen to song 100%.

Personally not into gaming and wont be watching movie with my PC.

Currently my S530D subwoofer is below the table, left corner of my desk. Both satellites were placed in left and right, about 70cm away from the wall and pointed towards me which is in the centre.

I see Airpulse A80 was selling for RM1.6-1.7k during Lazada Sales and wondering whether is it worth an investment. Then, might be consider to add in a subwoofer.

If the sound quality difference is just subtle or average person won't be hearing any difference, I might as well just buying something cheaper like R1700BT.

meaning u r having toe in.. to reduce the sharp tone you can reduce the toe in to try / just reduce the treble.. anyway same concept is applicable when you got ur new set later.

simple answer no. they dont have 3.5mm output from PS4/PS5 which your soundbar only accept analog 3.5mm output/Bluetooth. Unless you would want to connect a cable from your controller to the soundbar.

Sifus, looking for 5.1 system for movie purpose, preferably with mic input for casual karaoke session, budget within 3k, any luck ?

it’s better to reconsider your requirements… 5.1 etc normally use hifi speakers ( expensive and sensitive components)… for karaoke, it’s high volume larger watts output… both use different types of equipment

Been using the iloud micro for the past few weeks.
Great sound, amazing size.

However there is a bit of a buzzing/humming sound coming from it. It’s clear for the first 20 seconds, then it’s less loud but still audible.
Happens even when I’ve disconnected the RCA. Heard it’s apparent in all ilouds.

So I would like to ask here.
Are there any similar 2.0 monitor speakers which are of the same size or smaller but with better sound quality and no humming sound ?

Heard about the Adams, but they’re still a tad taller than the ilouds.

Hi all sifus, my Edifier 2.1 speaker 1 side speaker died ady, no sound. Wanna seek recommendation on what kind of speaker/ soundbar can a small desk get? Budget max RM200.

Prefer a speaker that got a easy to reach knob.

And I'm not so familiar with soundbars, saw it quite popular nowadays, are they good for gaming?
