I've been using my trusty old Edifier HCS2330 as my pc speakers for almost 10 years now i think? (I bought it before it was renamed to C2)

Recently been thinking about upgrading them. Had a search around and was surprised to find the Logitech Z625 to be still around, I remember these from the time I bought my Edifier! Or did I remember wrongly?

Anyway will it be a significant upgrade if I go for them? If not is there any recommendation for around RM500 - 600 ish + range?

Ok just had a look at this model. Also found out there's an improved version call S351db.

If Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 vs S351db which one is better buy?

I didn't own them... How should I know? But edifier is a recent model... Probably released 4 or 5 years ago but Promedia is like more than 10 years old design. You never know if they already cut corners given that it used to cost more back then.

Guys, have you had any speakers where the audio macam come and goes on either the left, right or sub? My Swan H4+H10 has this issue sweat.gif

Feel sayang to change just due to this issue as when it works, it sounds as great as it did when I first got it 8 plus years ago, but when the issue happens....

for example left and right got sound, suddenly left will disappear, and when i unplug replug the left speaker (each speaker and sub has its own power plug) it will come back but go off after a while.

the sub has a crossover switch (like the lever where you can push up and down), if I play around with the switch to find the "sweet spot" every thing will work, but after a while it may happen again. So funny issue which also happens thru phone 3.5m jack so i don't think its related to my source which is a Xonar DX on my PC

wanna bring to repair shop also susah, since overall weight around 30kg doh.gif

Have you tried replacing the cables? I assume they're RCA? I can't see it from google search.

Yes I replaced all the RCA cables and also the 3.5mm cable which connects to the sound card. Thought it was fine but started happening again shortly after zzzz.

I think your theory about the switch may be correct. Nowadays i need to play with that toggle for it to come back on all 3 speakers. If i disturb it further I will get certain component disappearing again.

Maybe need to put wd40 XD

wd40 not healthy for switch or pot. It will slowly corrode metal and make it rusty.

Better contact cleaner

hi i recently get Edifier T5 to pair with my R1700BT
after some try n error on setting the SW volume and LPF, i put about 10 o'clock position for both volume n LPF
its ok when playing movie. however, when i switch to music, the bass is too much and i need to lower down the source volume and increase the speaker volume.

Hey guys, im looking to get some decent computer speakers. Been using my eacan e-191m for almost 8 years and its probably time to change.

Been researching 2.1 speakers and honestly the more I researched, the more I cant decide.

So far what I'm keen on looking:-
1. LG Z623/Z625
2. LG Z407
3. LG G560 (Impossible to find, though its on top 2021/2022 list)
4. Harman Kardon Soundsticks III
5. Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX

If anyone owned any of these, mind sharing your thoughts or comments? Thank you!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused, in your case you have to adjust the bass volume manually.

Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading from my 5-year-old Creative T40 for my Mac. Any recommendations would be appreciated. What I'm looking for:

- Must have bluetooth
- 2.0, no space for sub and not a big fan of bass, I got my T40's bass turned to around 40%
- No auto-off for energy saving like the T40. The 5-second wait for it to wake is very annoying to me
- Mostly listen to podcasts or lectures (talking). Occasional netflix. Don't listen to music.

Around RM500. I'm no audiophile, far from it, just wanna hear clear, crisp speech.
