I'm currently using s530db and was wonder if going to S350 or S351 is consider an upgrade. My S530DB is pretty bassy at time so I want something more balance.
I listen to both side by side. Idk if it'll sound "upgraded" or not since either does something better than the other.
I felt that the S530D sounds more "raw and unedited" so whatever you give it, it will play anything you give be it rubbish or quality
The S350DB has a "digitally tuned" sound where it will shape the sound to sound better similar like how phone camera with noise reduction and filters to make it sound better.
S530D imo is a more warm sounding speaker with limitations where bass cannot go deep, treble cannot go higher while the S350DB I tested is a more wider spectrum that hits both highs and lows better.
I never tested with meters but S530D sounds "louder" and more capable in a living room tv setup while the S350DB started to sound compressed before it reaches the same loudness.
S530D definitely runs warmer with the older amp while the modern S350DB with the new amp runs cool even when running loud for an extended period of time.
